people WANT to work oh my god. lately corporate has been cracking down on part-time employees working TOO many hours. they are not allowed to work more than 28hrs per week, and if they do, I (their supervisor) get in trouble for it. what the hell?? basically, I'm getting in shit on by upper management bc my employees WANT to pick up shifts and work more hours

I also want to add that we don't have any minors on staff so everyone is working to pay rent/bills/for their families/studen loans/etc. and you're telling me I have to tell them WORK LESS????

SO OFC my staff are all going out to find other part-time jobs or a new full-time job. turnover rate increases, and then corporate has the fucking audacity to ask us why people are quitting. FUCK OFF

#my part-time employees are always begging for more hours #and asking if it's possible to change to full-time status #except my stupid fucking company doesn't offer full-time positions to anyone except SOME management #stuck in a cycle of constantly hiring and constantly training #and then the company wonders why everyone is so fucking incompetent at their jobs #OHH and they cut training hours too this year #yeah so instead of getting a week's worth of training #they get one fucking day. ONE day. you are shitting in my fucking chest right now what #FUCK CORPORATIONS FUCK YOU FUCK OFF CAPITALIST PIGS WILL DO ANYTHING BUT PAY PEOPLE TO RUN THEIR STUPID FUCKING COMPANIES #they don't even do stupid pizza parties anymore or whatever #I'M PAYING OUT OF MY POCKET FOR MY STAFF.#AND sometimes DSM is paying out of his pocket for shit!!!!!!!!#lower management isn't the issue.
