sana’s head instantly turned to look behind her when she heard jihyo’s sigh, followed by her shutting her laptop. she turned her entire body on the couch to look at her girlfriend sitting at the coffee table.

the look on jihyo’s face told her enough, she knew exactly how stressed her girlfriend was by now. her lip slightly pulled between her teeth as she stared right at sana, but didn’t really look at her. she knew how hard it had been on her girlfriend to start classes online and that only added more pressure when finals came up.

sana just kept looking at her, softly asking, “done?”

her voice seemed to bring jihyo back to earth, she hummed. “yeah, finally.”

“how do you think you did?”

jihyo simply shrugged.

“come here,” sana said softly. her arms already open and waiting for her girlfriend to find herself in between. jihyo let out a breathless chuckle as she psuhed the chair back and walked over.

sana’s hands settled on either side of her waist, sneaking underneath the oversized sweater to feel her naked skin underneath. jihyo instantly tensed at the movement, goosebumps forming underneath her hands. she let her head fall down onto sana’s shoulder though, her own hands pulling her closer. “your hands are cold.”

“because they’ve been missing yours,”

“okaaaay,” jihyo dragged out, “no need to get smooth, it’s not like my brain is working after the last two hours.”

“don’t worry too much about it,” sana replied softly. “you studied for weeks, you did everything you could and i truly believe that was enough. and honestly, if it isn’t? then it’s just not realistic.”

“realistic or not won’t change the fact if i fail—“

sana’s finger came up to jihyo’s lips shushing her. “eh. no. don’t go there. whatever the result is, you did great.”

“okay, but you know that i’m a perfe—“

“jihyo,”

“okay, fine.” jihyo tightened her lip. “i did okay,” sana looked at her, urging for her to go on. jihyo sighed, rolling her eyes too. “i did what i could. better?”
