can you imagine being a parent in the pokemon world and your kid comes home with one of those straight up basically human pokemon. i know those motherfuckers can talk.

i hate to ask when there are ppl with greater needs in worse circumstances, but: my emergency savings, which i've been using to pay for medical and psychiatric appointments while unemployed the last 3 years, are on their last legs. i just lost a huge chunk because my mum lost her job and asked me to pay her money i owed her so she can pay for emergency bladder removal surgery next week. i have 2 psych appointments this week, totalling about $650 to treat my "treatment-resistant" Major Depressive Disorder. i am trying hard to keep money in my emergency account because I won't have any insurance whatsoever from October. i know i haven't been publishing any writing or podcasting lately. i am sorry. the financial, personal and emotional toll of these last few years has hollowed me out in so many ways. but if you are in a position to throw me a couple of bucks and you want to help me cover half these appointments this week - literally anything so i don't have to dip as much into the last dregs of my emergency funds - i'd be so grateful.
