her hands are clammy, almost embarrassingly so, and the heat that comes from her palms only seems to multiply when fingers are interlaced with the other girl. she seems almost repulsed for just a moment, arm stiffening like a threat, tenko contemplating simply yanking her hand away only seconds after they link.
her relationship with angie is ... complicated, to say the least. there are no irredeemable people, simply those who are further behind on the path than others -- so said her master, who's principles captured tenko’s heart ( and if that wasn’t true, those menaces would never be given second chances; if they weren’t able to be saved from their own filth, tenko would have simply removed them as a necessary precaution ). and yet... tenko, who was once certain of the purity of girls, found in angie the same degeneracy that she was sure only males contained ! ( her crime ? no fault of her own - angie was simply the target of tenko’s misguided resentment towards her, for himiko seemed to prefer her company much over tenko’s ... while her religious fervor could be troubling if not escapist, to say the aikidoka’s aggression stemmed solely from concern would be a lie ).
regardless, what kind of hero would tenko be if she turned away from a girl requesting her company ?! even if she’s unsure of the reason, master would never want her to refuse another girl, that she’s certain of !
