   The 52 Killing games have just ended and Danganronpa was accepting applications for the new killing game. The games promised fame, glory and the possibility of a totally new interesting life in this normal life. It attracted people of all kinds though they were quite picky about the kind of people they accept. You would think a game where people might die wouldn’t be picky about their choices but they accept only people with the most interesting appearance and base personality. As even though they will be erased in the game for whatever story works for the team it determines who really wants to win and be in it. And if they like the applicant's suggestion of their role your chances go up.

   Kaguya Ashikaga, was one such applicant waiting in the audition room with many other teenagers waiting to be called up. A lot of the applicants were mostly here for the chance at fame and fortune. As the winners tended to be compensated for their new identity and be remembered as survivors. Kaguya was no exception as she was in this game to win, sure she might die but it wouldn’t even technically be her anymore. Also between the choice of a boring dull long life of the real world and the colorful world of Danganronpa it was worth at least a try. 

   Her eyes were scanning the application before looking up around at the other people wondering who might end up accepted. Only for her eyes to spot a familiar face, a quiet kid from her class at school. They weren’t exactly friends if anything they never even talked to each other, but since they were both applying it might be a good conversation. Especially since there were so many people likely they will be here a while, now what was this kids name again? Ah- she can’t remember oh well.

Kokichi didn’t really know what to say to that. Ever since the third trial, Saihara had been acting extremely weird. It was like he was a whole different person, or maybe he had been lying up until this point.

“Wh-what do you think this is?”

Shaky hands were holding a pink envelope that was decorated with hearts. He found it inside his locker after school and didn’t have the courage to open it up unless he had the only one he can call a “friend”, someone that he believes cares for him despite how weak he is. 

Ouma woke with a yawn as he sat up, running a hand through his hair and sighing. Time to get up and spin more lies. As he got dressed he looked in the mirror, seeing that his hair was slightly messier than usual. But that didn’t matter. Let it be messy he wasn’t dealing with it. Not while he was hungry at least. He’ll deal with it later after he eats. Assuming he remembers to.

After getting dressed, Kokichi left the room and headed to the dining hall. It seemed like most people were there at their usual times. Except for Saihara and Angie... Where was he? After people began voicing their concern, Ouma let out an annoyed and over exaggerated sigh and agreed to go check on them. However, he decided to go and look for Saihara first.

He didn’t bother to knock on Saihara’s door, instead picking the lock and getting in with relative ease.

Oh how he wished he hadn’t been the one to enter this room. The first thing he saw was the wax figure of Kaede hanging upside down from the ceiling, and Ouma wordlessly walked towards her before looking and seeing Shuuichi and the other wax figures.
