Chelsea handler said her doctor “hands it out to everybody” and Rosie O’Donnell said she had no idea that weight loss was a side effect and called her doctor in a panic because she lost weight so fast she thought it was cancer. NEVER let them distract you from the real enemy: the medical field that has systemically and often fatally dehumanized the fat people in its care for decades and whose obsession with classifying and pathologizing any sort of body it deems deviant has brought us to this moment in time

By the end of the decade so many people will have died from these drugs and we won't hear a damn thing about it, it's happened before, it's happening now, it'll happen again.

I got an e-mail from my son's school saying they have "become aware of a proposed student walkout on Thursday 13 August associated with the “Students Say No to Hanson” event, protesting Pauline Hanson and One Nation" and that "the proposed walkout is not supported or endorsed by me (the principal) or by school staff." They also recommended that "families discuss... with their children before Thursday" so I texted my kid about it, he didn't know it was happening and wasn't fully aware of who Pauline Hanson was, but now he knows, and is mad as hell, and is absolutely talking part in the walkout tomorrow lol Can't even rely on schools to do the woke indoctrination anymore, I have to do it all myself smh

the thing about being bullied for being weird as a kid is that even if you've always embraced being weird your brain is still always looking for the line where it's too much. you can be as proudly and intentionally weird as you want and you can love being weird but your mind is still convinced there's a point where you get too weird and people start treating you like a weird looking bug again. also it feels like you reach that point 500 times a day even if everyone you've spoken to today found you pleasant and likable and even if you're completely alone in your house with nobody looking at you at all.
