News to me and my lack of Fate knowledge. I assumed red-eyed Rin from the trailer just meant she went evil. Should’ve guessed it was gonna be more of a March/Evernight or Seele/Veliona situation, at least from what I’m understanding. Correct me if wrong.

I adore how Wonweek is still holding onto that dream of how Sunday once tried to fly with his ear wings. Such a silly reason to participate in these games though.

With how often this has happened already, I should not be surprised to see Argenti randomly pop up during events anymore.. and yet this gentleman still manages to catch me off guard each and every time. Honestly, this should be the man they toss into a collab with another game, unlike Blade venturing into Fortnight or Nexus Anima. Argenti’s random appearances would make perfect sense.

Well, not completely in person yet, since Castorice and Polyxia are only here due to wishpower, but I eagerly await the day we can truly meet the real sisters again on Amphoreus. It was great to see them interact with a completely new world though.

Whether it’s because of her Rider class or not, I need to see fanart of Castorice as a biker NOW. It could very well just be Polyxia teasing, but that’s such a funny and unexpected idea oh my god.. I love it. I think the other calamity titans (Mydei & Cipher) would be perfect for riding motorcycles too.

I was half expecting Trailblazer to pull out the dreadful 33,550,336 as a number just for the funnies, but us randomly coming up with Pearl’s is just as good. Or maybe we remembered back when Nihilux used it. Either way, I’m sure that Stoneheart isn’t gonna be too happy with us.

Aww, this was real sweet of Cassie (and Polyxia) to use up the remainder of their wishpower in order to help protect us. All the other Chrysos Heirs are gonna be so surprised to hear everything about this spontaneous adventure these sisters had the pleasure of experiencing. I still think it would’ve been funny if he and Cassie had the chance to meet up in Planarcadia and witness them both being utterly confused.

Aahhh this is so cute! It makes me so happy to see Castorice being able to embrace others now without the fear of her curse.

I fear you just attract a certain type of man, Phainon. With all the memes that went around about Mydei resembling Gilgamesh when he was first revealed, it’s hilarious it all came to fruition now that Gilgamesh is an actual collab character.

Well, you both literally are Destruction units.. but yes Phainon, your attitude surpasses this king’s by a long shot. I’m also realizing now with the arrival of Gilgamesh, we haven’t had another Destruction unit since Phainon & Saber released last year. Kinda crazy it’s been so long, but Elation did sorta take over.

I never thought I’d have to hear this iconic line again.

Gilgamesh, there’s so much space for you to walk around on this tower.. did you really have to bump Lancer out of your way? Such a rude king. I wonder if he’d annoy me this much if I were to watch Fate.

Quite an impressive lineup, though I wish we had some more familiar Star Rail faces joining us.. like Silver Wolf and Blade. Both were on the case board the entire mission and yet they didn’t appear once throughout the story? Hello?

I know people are probably gonna complain that they’re just recycling bosses, but at least we had the new card system to use in battle instead of just jumping in with our standard teams as usual.

We’ve railed so many bosses with the Astral Express by now that I wouldn’t be surprised if the move becomes one of Trailblazer’s future ultimates one day. Which path would it be? I dunno. Erudition? As a subtle nod to Himeko perhaps. Or something completely new. I’m just tossing random ideas out there but I doubt it’ll ever happen. Us using the train to attack in CW with the Express Cohort bond is good enough for now.

Pfft, I love it when the game is self aware. Also, I looked back at the 4.1 story and didn’t see any of our possessions, like the Holy Grail, on display on the top of that Star Rail Fest tower. Just a crowd of people. Would’ve been some nice foreshadowing if they actually had our stuff displayed there during the main story.

Although I have no desire to pull for Rin, I will say that I did enjoy her play style more than Gilgamesh’s when I did their combat trials. I enjoyed her character and design more overall between the two as well. Shame they gave us the arrogant king for free instead of her but I get it. Rin will definitely pull in the cash.

Speaking of characters I’d much rather own, will my boy Lancer ever be free from NPC jail? He still has my favorite design out of the Fate collab characters.

Yeah.. wishpower is such a convenient plot device that will safely allow anything to happen without much explanation. Like magic or the power of friendship in any other universe.

As I said, I dunno much about Fate, but I’ve seen the memes.. so I know it’s best that we gotta keep Clara as far away from Gilgamesh as possible.

Unintentionally trying to rizz up Rin so she can join my squad without the need to pull for her. Being a self-proclaimed Belobogian at heart, of course I chose our flaming lance as my most precious memory.. though I feel like I doomed myself because isn’t the Lancer class infamous for dying easily in Fate? Oops.

I’ve never agreed with Herta more than in this moment. I did still choose Gilgamesh as my free character since I already had Archer though.

Indeed it has been a long time since I don’t believe Geppie was around for the dice event in 4.0, so why and how are you even here? We gonna blame wishpower like we did with Svarog I guess?

There was lots of lore here, stuff about Rin’s rather and sister I think.. but I don’t remember much of it. I did play the event in English (because I was looking forward to Castorice & Phainon showing up again), which made all the Fate characters muted for me, so I was speed reading through most of their dialogue. Still a gorgeous frame of her though.

As far as favorite characters returning, I suppose Wonweek counts too. I adore Sunday no matter what form, although seeing Wonweek does confuse me a bit. Didn’t he like.. disappear and/or merge with Sunday at the end of 2.7? Or how is it possible that he’s just his halo? I’ll accept wishpower as the easy answer but I’m still baffled.

I mean.. he’s not wrong. The Wonweek we met in 2.7 didn’t do anything dastardly, he’s just far more blunt, sarcastic and carefree than Sunday is. All this is still hilarious for him to say out loud though.

No no.. let’s not do that. While I do enjoy Wonweek’s snarky attitude, Sunday quite literally despises him. I don’t wanna upset him when he’s already come so far on his redemption journey.

Oh sweet Aeons.. Sunday would surely throw hands if he heard Wonweek say such things. Becoming a god is not even a thought in Sunny’s mind anymore. And he’s getting plenty of screen time in the main story as it is, so don’t worry about that, buddy.

Eehehe, his silly, little :3 face. I have no doubt that Griffin had some fun with Wonweek’s lines, giving his usual Sunday performance a bit more razzle dazzle instead of his proper and formal speech patterns.

Melody’s awkward, forced laugh was also so good. Someone has to save Cassie from Sparxie’s command pronto.

Seeing her actually blinking wildly after Trailblazer asked “blink if you’ve been kidnapped” was downright hilarious. This event is really making me enjoy Castorice more than I already did.

Our streamer survives this. Somehow. Although, can someone really die if we’re already in Cassie’s domain? I will say that the culprit behind the big scheme being described as a girl with pigtails leading everyone to be it’s not Rin but Sparxie, only for it to actually end up being Ishtar instead was some clever writing.
