Everything I have seen from the Cardiff shows has absolutely stirred so much emotion inside of me. Yes, they sound great. Yes, it’s phenomenal to see other members like Bonehead, Gem, and Andy a part of the reunion. But what gets me the most is seeing Liam and Noel be brothers again.
To see them interact with each other, hug each other, recognize each other as a way of saying have a good show. This is more than just Oasis reunion; it’s a big family reunion. And it’s a special one of the sort. Knowing that their mom is probably over the moon to see her two sons performing together again after years apart makes me weep.
I became an Oasis fan back in 2015; a whole 6 years after they had broken up. I started this blog I believe the same year as a way to enjoy them because I never thought a reunion was possible. Now, it’s a whole decade later, and now myself and so many other fans get the opportunity to see them. It didn’t feel real until last night, and I’m only more excited to see how the rest of this tour goes.
