#beady eye

i am always thinking about noel's comment back in 2014 about beady eye split and i find it so interesting that he said "i'm quite sad actually because i always thought him and maybe not so much andy but i thought him and gem will be together forever". it deeply intrigues me because usually the view is that andy's more on liam's side in the split and gem is a close friend of noel's. (actually gem is sort of a special case in a lot of ways because during the split years there are clearly people who you can feel in their circles are more of liam's friends and people who are noel's, side more visible, and gem was in beady eye first and one never really hears any bad blood between them ever - in contrast there are noel's complaints of andy that we know - and also went on to join NGHFB. he seems to get along with both brother fine). andyliam has a fun dynamic going on and up until the beady eye split they'd been quite friendly even flirtatious and all, and they went on that trip together when oasis split (true, with their wives at that time who were besties, but the point stands). but noel said "maybe not so much andy" and i'm like, eyes emoji .......... <- like admittedly i am fascinated by noel & andy's dynamic as well so i am biased ..... yes they seem the least connected out of all pairs and yet they've also known each other since the 90s, before andy even joined oasis. and the comparative lack of interaction (good or bad) is what is interesting to me.
