When you like someone so much you want to BITE them - and other adventures of Hedwig (Pticenoga) and Vaughn >:)

I've been dealing with some health issues (nothing unusual for me, so no worries; also my husband takes care of me the same way Vaughn does here lol), which kept me from posting for a while. Now I'm trying to get back into it 💀

As you can see, I've also been experimenting a bit. I have 0 training in animation, but I've always admired it, so I decided to try animating something small myself. These are some of my older attempts, I've created more since then (you can find them on my Patreon), and I even revisited Hedwig's leg animation to make it smoother and as if she's rushing forward. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm really excited about it!

locking fingers without even thinking about it as soon as their hands accidentally brush

pulling them in by their tie/scarf

leaning in for a kiss but hovering just out of reach with a tiny, smug smile

kneeling before them to help put their shoes on or take them off

grabbing them by their chin when they're mouthing off

sitting on their lap facing them, putting arms over their shoulders and leaning in with a small grin

slowly approaching as the other walks backwards until their back hits the wall

realizing the other is watching and making just the tiniest head tilt and smirk, but it's enough to frazzle their partner

resting their hand on the other's knee, absentmindendly rubbing their hand up their thigh

Like take Celine in KPDH

We never see Celine fight. We know she's been alone for two decades. We only know her weapons are dual swords due to the credits and she never summons them on screen. There's a thousand possible answers as to why and I love reading every one.

We know she was caring for Rumi, we see her with a very young Rumi and no evidence of others helping.

That meant she was solo hunting for most of that time, even while caring for a child. The Honmoon didn't get torn apart and she didn't die or take a (visibly/obvious) disabling injury in the ~17 years that she was alone, which means she was very, very good at solo hunting.

I think most people in the fandom agree that Celine was straight up terrifyingly good as a hunter.

And that all those years doing this alone can certainly pile on top of whatever her own mentors taught her (another unspoken implication being that they were much more strict*) so it's no wonder she's the way she is by the time Rumi's secret is exposed.
