I've had my Borderlands AU for a while now, and I've been working on a lot of things dedicated to it.

It's a passion project of mine that combines everything I love and crave in media: an old-fashioned cartoon look, 2D animation, Atlantis- and Sinbad-inspired visuals and storytelling, and characters and dynamics that I personally enjoy. My dream is to create an actual cartoon one day, but for now, that's too much work for one person xD

I started learning animation because I wanted to bring Vaughn, Hedwig and my other characters to life, and I'm slowly getting there 🐸 I haven't posted everything here, and there's a lot more on my Patreon, take a look if you're interested.

I’ve also spent most of this summer struggling with my health after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, which is why I haven't posted in a while. I'm slowly getting better now, though. Working on this project gives me life and helps take my mind off things 💀💅

P.S. The three-eyed mutant frog is supposed to search the ground for truffles and other edible things, like chicken-flavored larvae, lol. That was my idea.

When you like someone so much you want to BITE them - and other adventures of Hedwig (Pticenoga) and Vaughn >:)

I've been dealing with some health issues (nothing unusual for me, so no worries; also my husband takes care of me the same way Vaughn does here lol), which kept me from posting for a while. Now I'm trying to get back into it 💀

As you can see, I've also been experimenting a bit. I have 0 training in animation, but I've always admired it, so I decided to try animating something small myself. These are some of my older attempts, I've created more since then (you can find them on my Patreon), and I even revisited Hedwig's leg animation to make it smoother and as if she's rushing forward. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm really excited about it!

It's spooky season, and it's the perfect time to share this comic/storyboard I drew a while ago, showing what's been going on in Heather's Southern Gothic world. Things usually aren't great there, but at least justice can still be served… if you ask Heather.

I just wanted to say that I had big art plans for this year, but life had other ideas 😒 As I've mentioned here before, my MIL passed away two months ago. She's been severely sick for a while before that happened. Before that, my sister-in-law, my husband and I had to say goodbye to her sick cat, which was heartbreaking. And now our own cat suddenly got very sick and almost died, despite "excellent" tests and X-rays. It was over two weeks of constant dread and endless vet visits to different clinics before she was finally admitted to a hospital and got her diagnosis. She's now in the process of recovery.

On top of that, I was very sick for an entire month of July myself. Still, I have to work and pay the bills, no break from that. My energy levels are pretty low right now. I'm updating a few posts here with new art, and there's a lot more art on my Patreon (and I'd be extra happy if you joined, especially now). I wanted to make several new art posts here, but with everything going on, I just couldn't draw everything I had planned.
