The first like 20-ish years of my life, where all of my formative experiences are supposed to be, was effectively stolen from me due to what I was born as. Of course I’m upset.

I mourn that deeply and constantly and it’s a pain that will probably never fully go away because it’s grief. I haven’t even been able to properly grieve yet.

Yeah I’d be cringe but who wasn’t. But I’d rather grow up a cringe girl than have to deal with the trauma that repressing for so long has given me.
