the threads of their bodies intertwining together ?? and we know that the threads are like used for meaning feelings/emotions, with the text of connecting heart to heart too excuse me ??
some people will be like “I wonder why fanfic writers don’t share their works anymore😔” and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write — as a hobby, for their own enjoyment — with them for free.
some people really don’t realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you… and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free
“almost 1 year is a lil too much for me” fuck off. fanfic writers don’t owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didn’t act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didn’t update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they don’t owe your entitled ass anything.
you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artist’s love and passion. it’s dystopian.

Nirei was always the one holding the notebook. He was an observer, the data collector, the boy who memorized every strong fighter’s name in the city. He was small, stuttering, and nervous. People thought he was harmless.
They did not see what he wrote in the pages of his special notebooks. They did not see the pages dedicated entirely to you.
It started innocently, he tracked your schedule to make sure you walked home safely, he wrote down your favorite convenience store snacks so he could randomly surprise you with them. He even noted the exact way your eyes crinkled when you laughed at his clumsy jokes. But love is a heavy thing for a boy who feels weak. When Nirei realized how much he needed you, the notebooks changed. They became a record of your life, wrote entirely by him.
"Hey, look out!" Nirei gasped, pulling you by your sleeve as a cyclist zoomed past on the sidewalk.
You blinked, heart hammering slightly from the sudden movement. "Wow, thanks, Nirei. I didn't even see him."
Nirei’s face turned bright red, his fingers lingering on your sleeve for a second too long before he pulled his hand back, clutching his chest. "Y-You have to be more careful! People don't look where they are going, so anything could happen to you!"
"I'm fine, really," you laughed softly, patting his shoulder. "You're always looking out for me."
"Always," Nirei whispered. The word carried a weight you didn't quite catch. "I have to, nobody else understands how precious you are."
You smiled, thinking it was just Nirei being his usual, overly sweet self. You didn't notice the sharp, intense look in his eyes when you turned around to keep walking. He wasn't looking at the street anymore. He was looking at the back of your head, his mind spinning with calculations. He knew exactly how many steps it took to get to your house, the blind spots of every security camera on this block, and knew that the boy from the class next door had tried to talk to you during lunch today.
Nirei had already made sure that boy wouldn't talk to you again. A few quiet words in the right ears, a little bit of misinformation passed to the older fighters, and the boy was too busy dealing with trouble to think about you. Nirei smiled a small, secret smile. He was saving you from the world, piece by piece.
As the weeks went by, the air around you felt heavier. It wasn't a bad feeling at first. It just felt like you were constantly being watched over. When you dropped your pen, Nirei was already diving across the floor to pick it up. When you mentioned you were thirsty, a cold bottle of your exact favorite juice would appear on your desk five minutes later, always with a sweet note from him.
But then, your friends started to drift away.
"Hey, are we still studying together after school?" you asked a classmate one afternoon.
The girl looked at you, but her eyes flicked nervously toward the classroom door. Nirei was standing there, cleaning the chalkboard, he wasn't looking at her, but his shoulders were perfectly still, listening.
"Uh, actually, I can't," your friend stammered, grabbing her bag quickly. "I forgot I have to help my mom. Sorry!" She practically ran out of the room.
You sighed, staring at the empty doorway. "That's the third time this week."
"They are just busy," Nirei’s voice cut through the quiet room. He walked over to your desk, his face open and kind. "People have their own lives, you know? They get distracted and forget about the people who matter." He leaned in closer, placing his hands on the edge of your desk. "But I don't, I never have anywhere else to be."
"I know, Nirei," you said, offering a weak smile. "I'm glad I have you, it just feels like everyone else is avoiding me."
Nirei’s heart did a happy flip in his chest. Avoiding. Yes, that was the perfect word for it. He had spent so much time making sure they disappeared from your life. He didn't have to use fists like the other guys in Bofurin. He used words, countless rumors, and little setups that made your friends feel too uncomfortable or too scared to hang around you.
"You don't need them," Nirei said, his voice dropping an octave. His usual stutter was completely gone. "I'm the only one who stays."
You looked up at him, a tiny chill running down your spine. For a split second, Nirei didn't look like the timid boy who screamed when a fight broke out, he was steady and blank.
"Nirei?"
He blinked and the intense look melted instantly back into his wide-eyed, blushing grin. "A-Anyway! Let's go home together! I bought those little strawberry cakes you liked from the bakery down the street. I remembered you said you wanted them on Tuesday!"
You pushed the strange feeling away. "How do you remember everything I say?"
"Because everything you say is important," he answered honestly.
The turning point came on a rainy Friday. The sky was dark, pouring drops of rain that blurred the lights of the town. You had stayed late to finish a project, and the school was mostly empty.
You walked down the stairs, pulling your umbrella out of your locker. As you reached the front entrance, a tall boy from a rival school stepped out from the shadow of the awning. He looked messy, wet from the rain, and angry.
"Hey," the boy barked, stepping into your path. "You're the one who hangs out with that Bofurin brat, Nirei, right?"
You shrank back, gripping your umbrella tightly. "What do you want?"
"That little rat told the front gate guys that I was trashing the shopping district," the boy snarled, stepping closer. "I got kicked out because of his big mouth. Since he's too much of a coward to face me, I'll just take it out on you."
He reached out a rough hand to grab your wrist. You closed your eyes, bracing yourself to scream or run.
Before his fingers could touch your skin, a yellow umbrella slammed violently into the boy's arm.
"Don't touch them!"
You opened your eyes. Nirei was standing between you and the stranger, his yellow umbrella was bent, his uniform was soaked, and his hair plastered to his forehead. But it was his face that made you freeze. His eyes were wide, dark, and completely devoid of fear. They were filled with pure, murderous rage.
The boy stared at Nirei. He was much bigger than Nirei, but the insanity radiating from the smaller boy made him step back. There was something terrifying about a weak person who suddenly looked willing to die just to tear your throat out.
"You're crazy," the boy muttered, spitting on the ground. He turned and ran into the pouring rain, disappearing into the dark.
The silence of the school entrance returned, saved only by the heavy sound of the rain. Nirei stood still for a long moment. Then, his shoulders dropped. He turned around to face you.
Instantly, his face changed. The terrifying stranger vanished, replaced by your Nirei. His eyes filled with tears, and his hands began to shake violently.
"Are you okay?!" he cried out, dropping his broken umbrella and grabbing both of your hands. His palms were freezing and wet. "Did he hurt you? Did he touch you? I'm so sorry! I should have been faster! I shouldn't have let him get that close to you!"
"Nirei, breathe," you said, your own voice shaking from the adrenaline. "I'm okay. He didn't touch me, you stopped him."
Nirei pulled your hands up to his face, pressing your palms against his warm cheeks. He was crying now, tears mixing with the rain on his skin. "I was so scared. I can't lose you. If anything happens to you, I don't know what I'll do. You are everything I have."
"I'm fine, Nirei, really," you tried to soothe him, but the way he was holding your hands was incredibly tight. It almost hurt. "Let's just go home. It's safe now."
"Yes," Nirei whispered, staring deeply into your eyes. "Let's go home to my house. It's safer there."
You didn't realize what he meant until you walked into his apartment. You had been to Nirei's place once before, months ago, to help him clean. It had been a normal, slightly messy room. Nothing out of the ordinary.
This time, it was different.
The windows were covered with heavy, dark blankets that blocked out all external light. The only light came from a single desk lamp. And on the walls... there were no posters of fighters or heroes anymore.
There were photos of you.
Dozens, maybe even hundreds of them. Next to the photos were timelines, charts of your daily routines, and lists of everything you liked and disliked.
You dropped your bag. The thud felt incredibly loud in the quiet room.
"Nirei..." your voice was barely a whisper, "What is this?"
Nirei locked the front door behind you. You heard the distinct click of the deadbolt, followed by the slide of a security chain. He stood by the door, his wet hair dripping onto the floor. He didn't look ashamed, he looked weirdly relieved.
"It's my work," Nirei said softly, walking toward you. "It's how I keep you safe."
"This isn't safe," you said, taking a step back until your knees hit the edge of his bed. "This is crazy. You've been stalking me?"
"No!" Nirei looked hurt, his eyes wide and innocent. "Stalking is what bad people do. I'm protecting you! Don't you see? The world outside is so cruel. That boy today tried to hurt you. Your old friends didn't care about you. They left you alone, but I never leave you alone."
He stepped closer, reaching out to touch your shoulder. You flinched away from his hand.
Nirei stopped. His expression darkened just a little, a shadow passing over his face. "Don't pull away from me. Please, it hurts so much when you do that."
"Nirei, let me leave," you said, your heart pounding against your ribs. "Open the door."
"I can't do that," he said, his voice entirely calm now. He sat down on the bed right next to you, ignoring the fact that his clothes were damp. "If you go out there, you'll get hurt. You'll find someone else, someone who doesn't love you as much as I do. And they will break your heart, or they will let someone hurt you. I can't let that happen."
"You can't keep me here!"
"Why not?" Nirei asked, tilting his head. He looked genuinely curious. "I have everything you need. I know your favorite foods, I bought the blankets you like, and I have books, games, everything. You don't need to go to school anymore. You don't need to see anyone else. Just me. Aren't I enough?"
You stared at him, realizing the terrifying truth. He wasn't doing this out of sudden madness. This was a plan he had built over months. He had slowly cleared away your friends, monitored your life, and waited for the perfect moment to pull you into his world completely.
It was too late.
"Nirei..." You tried a different approach, letting your voice soften. "You're my best friend. You don't have to do this, I’m already here with you."
The word friend made him wince. He reached forward and grabbed your waist, pulling you firmly against his chest. He was stronger than he looked, his arms locking around you. You tried to push him off, but he buried his face into the crook of your neck, inhaling deeply.
"Don't call me that," he mumbled against your skin. "I don't want to be just a friend. I've watched you for so long. I've cried myself to sleep because I wanted to hold you like this. Please, just accept it. Tell me you love me. Tell me you won't leave."
You could feel him trembling against you. He had locked you in his room, yet he was still begging you for affection.
"If I stay..." you whispered, your mind racing. "Will you promise not to hurt anyone else?"
Nirei pulled back just enough to look at your face. His eyes were bright, shining with a desperate, frantic happiness. "I promise! I won't care about anyone else at all! They don't exist to me. Only you. Just look at me. Only me."
He brought his hands up to frame your face. His fingers were finally warm, pressing gently against your cheeks. He looked at your lips, his breathing catching in his throat.
"Can I?" he asked, his voice cracking with emotion. For a second, the stutter threatened to return, showing how nervous he truly was beneath the obsession. "Please? I've dreamed about this every single night."
You looked at the walls covered in your face, then back to the boy who had completely rewritten his life just to center it around yours. You knew there was no escaping right now. But looking at his desperate, loving, terrifying eyes, a small part of you wondered if being cared for this deeply was really so bad.
"Okay, Nirei," you whispered.
Nirei let out a shaky sigh, his eyes closing as he leaned in.
The first kiss was soft. His lips were warm and trembled against yours, as if he couldn't believe you were real. It was sweet, full of the innocent boy who used to stutter over his words in class.
But then, as you tried pull away, the kiss changed. Nirei groaned softly, his grip on your waist tightening as he pulled you flat against the bed. He leaned over you, pressing his lips harder against yours. The sweetness melted into a deep, desperate hunger.
When he finally broke the kiss, he was panting, his forehead resting against yours. His eyes were dark, heavy with affection and a dangerous satisfaction. A thin line of saliva connected your lips, and your mouth felt hot and swollen.
"You're mine now," Nirei whispered, his thumb wiping a stray tear from your cheek. He kissed the corner of your mouth gently, then your cheek, then down to your neck. "You can never leave this room. But don't worry. I will make you so happy here. I love you. I love you so much."
You lay beneath him, your heart hammering in your chest, trapped in this terrifying cage he had built just for you.
You felt like throwing up.
