Peanut Butter Dessert Wrap
Have you ever thought to yourself, âI really want dessert, but I only have 4 things in my fridge.â? If you said yes, then hopefully those 4 things are what this recipe calls for because this recipe is for you!
WARNING: CONTAINS PEANUT BUTTER.Â
Ingredients:
1 Jar of Peanut Butter
1 Flour Tortilla
Some Chocolate Sauce*
Some Caramel Sauce*
* I recommend the squeezy kind because itâs easier to use
How to Make:
1. Take the tortilla and put it on something. Maybe a plate or some paper towels.
2. Spead a lot of peanut butter on the tortilla.
3. Put on some caramel sauce.Â
4. Put on some chocolate sauce.
5. Carefully roll the tortilla and make sure the sauces donât spill out.
6. Very gently put the wrap in a plastic bag or wrap some paper towels around it. The seal of the wrap should be facing up.
7. Put the wrap in a freezer.
8. Wait at least 2 hours for it to freeze.
9. Take it out of the freezer and out of its container.
10. Eat it while thinking about your life choices.
Enjoy!
My new frenemesis
So I just started a new campaign that takes place in space. My character is a Dhampir (half vampire) rogue who was a bounty hunter before meeting the group (technically still is). I donât know the DM very well, but two of my friends are there so thatâs why I joined. I worked with the DM to finish my character, but never really spoke to him until the first session of the campaign.
Anyway, we were in some kind of prison were organic people were kept in life-sustaining goo. Once we got out of our original room, we found our weapons and tried to find our way out. In one room we found more tanks of goo with people in them. I went to investigate the tanks and rolled a nat 20. It was then that I found out that the DM had planned something for me.
As it turns out, one of the people in the goo happened to be my old friend/arch nemesis (dubbed frenemesis), Andretta. Andretta is an Aasimar paladin who is apparently trying to stop me from doing bad stuff (and maybe kill me). Anyways, thankfully she didnât have her weapon, and I persuaded her to help us get out, along with the 11 other people we found. She still didnât like me, but she healed some people in the party when they got injured.
We eventually reached a hangar where our ship was, and where Andrettaâs ship was broken down. I made a deal with her that weâd give her a ride if she forgot she saw me. She agreed and we left the jail. So now I have a frenemesis and Iâm excited to see if she shows up again!
Good Job
Context: I currently have a cold, so Iâve been struggling to sleep. Last night, I was worried about a cell biology exam. In my sleepy, almost dreamlike state, I tried to remember what different parts of cells do.
Me: Ok, Brain. What does the Golgi Apparatus do?
Brain: Oh! I absolutely know what that does! It makes you think exclusively about deep sea trout!
Me: ... I donât think thatâs th-
Brain: *Proceeds to flash the words âDEEP SEA TROUTâ over and over in my mind*
Me: You know what? Youâre definitely right. Good job, Brain!

When I see folks didnât like Deadpool, Iâm like whatever. People like different things. I donât even like Deadpool as a character but the movie was dope. Anyway, if you didnât like it because it was short or it felt cheap and underdeveloped, thatâs because it was. It was kinda set up to fail. They were given the greenlight the way an impatient parent says âfine you can have a dog but if it pisses on the rug, Iâm gonna shoot it.â They had less than a year to complete the movie and were given a budget of 58 million when the average superhero movie budget is between $150-250 million. AND Fox had the nerve to take money out of the budget so they had to write around the money. So Deadpool only having a few bullets? Budget. Forgetting his guns in the car so he canât use them in the final fight? Budget. Only 2 low profile X-men around, one of which had never been seen before? Budget. And they still managed to make crazy amounts of money and break all kinds of records. I just feel like itâs worth knowing whether you like it or not because I ended up liking the movie a lot more after knowing what they were working against. Deadpool is like the indie movie of this superhero shit
Hey guys look at this damn film nerd
Look at this film nerd pointing out this massive SUCCESS STORY.
Bonus points for Deadpool making massive amounts of money despite being released in a fucking DEADZONE and being rated R. An R rating automatically limits the audience, so it was basically kneecapped from the get-go because fewer people would even be able to see it. Releasing the movie in fucking February was a damn near deliberate attempt on its life. February is where movies go to die, ok, even the cheesy date movies donât always make it out alive. They didnât want this movie made in the first place, greenlit it to stop the nagging, gave it a ridiculously tiny budget and then CUT IT DOWN EVEN MORE later on forcing several very hurried bits of rewriting (this is where a few extra digs at the studio were added, because they fucking deserved it), tried to argue against an R rating and when that failed, they tried to kill it by dumping it in the fucking release date graveyard. And it still made ridiculous amounts of money. Thatâs like winning the Kentucky Derby on a 3-legged donkey; âMassive successâ is a bit of an understatement.
Which is a PERFECT story for Deadpool - the fucker no one wanted who dug in and survived. My hero.

The Partyâs Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Night
A little context: 5e homebrew campaign, the story takes place when we were level one. I play a rogue named Jade.
After a long day of fighting skeletons and giant spiders, our party decided to rest as it was getting dark. I volunteered to take first shift because I hadnât lost any hp. YET.
While everyone was sleeping, I was watching the darkness. (DM asked me to roll perception. *Natural 1*). I looked into the distance, kept leaning forward, and fell face first on a rock and took 2 hp of damage. (At this point, I only had 10 total hp and Jade doesnât like dying). I woke everyone up by crying out in pain. They heard something. Apparently, it was shadow monsters. It was very hard to see them, and only a couple people were actually hitting them. I only saw them when a thunderclap lit up the area. We agreed that it was the shadow monsters that tripped me and made me fall.
After fighting these guys for probably an hour, we kept walking. I heard some screeching in the distance and suddenly we were fighting 3 swarms of skeletal bats. I hid under my cloak and the bats didnât see me that round (Nat 20!). Our druid held 2 swarms down with Entangle. Pros: The bats were failing at hitting us. Cons: We were failing at hitting the bats. At one point, our tiefling warlock decided to use Hellish Rubuke (For those who donât know, itâs fire magic that causes 2d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one). Unfortunately, she somehow hit everyone. Our cleric got knocked out and I was left at 1 hp. After another hour and a half, we finally destroyed the bats and our cleric was fine.Â
After all of that, we got to a town as the sun was rising and were able to rest. We celebrated our victory at a tavern and then went to an abandoned alchemy shop where we found a hidden staircase that led to darkness.Â
Todayâs Lesson: If any rogues are reading this, be careful out there. Everything wants to kill you.
Proud Moment for the Rogue
For Context: Iâm currently in a homebrew campaign and my character is a dhampir rogue named Jade (dhampir being a half-vampire). Also, nobody in the party is human in a world where humans are racist towards monster-like species (Me, 2 lycanthropes, a tiefling, and a mousefolk). We were in a tavern pretty much just chilling.
Spirit Mage: (ooc) I want to start a bar brawl.
DM: Really?
Spirit Mage:(ooc) Yeah. I walk up to the shadiest person in the bar.
DM: Ok, so you walk up to Jade.
Party: *laughter*
Me: Hey buddy, did you want something? *smiles*
Spirit Mage: (ooc) I turn right around and walk away.
Party: *More laughter*
Lesson of the day: try not to start a fight in a tavern.

tips for writing bilingual characters
there are different types of bilinguals
the All Around: speaks, reads, and writes both languages pretty well
the Conversational: one language is stronger than the other; can speak the other language a lot better than they read/write it (a lot of kids of immigrants are this type)
the High Schooler: understands whatâs being said to them in the other language, canât really speak it
donât have your characters randomly drop words from their other language mid-sentence around people who donât speak it lol
languages are a mindset thing. like personally if iâm around english-speakers, iâm speaking english and i donât really switch to my other language (which is portuguese)
so like if youâre writing a bilingual character who speaks spanish and have them say something like âhey chad letâs go to the bibliotecaâ to an english speaker iâll probably spend 5 minutes laughing and then close your story lmao
exception: the character is speaking in their weaker language and forgot a word (âwhere are theâŠ? uh⊠llavesâŠ. keys! keys, where are they?â)
otherwise really the only time your character should be randomly switching languages mid-sentence is if theyâre talking to another bilingual
like i donât speak spanish but iâve legit never heard a spanish speaker say âay dios mioâ to gringos lmao
conversations between two bilingual people can take a few different forms:
Pick One: they pick one language and kinda stick with it for the whole conversation (a conversation i might have with my portuguese-speaking mom: âyou okay?â âyeah, iâm good. howâre you?â âiâm fine, but your dad-â)
Back-and-Forth: someone says something in one language, the other person replies in the other (âtudo bem?â âyeah, iâm good. howâre you?â âtou bem, mas o seu pai-â)
Combo: they speak a combo of the two languages, a popular example being spanglish, though basically every bilingual has their own combo language (âtudo bem?â âsim, tou bem. howâre you?â âiâm fine, mas o seu pai-â)
when in doubt: just ask a bilingual to look at your stuff and tell you if anything sounds weird
combo languages can look different depending on the bilingual
me and my cousin (native english speakers) speaking our portuguese/english combo sounds a lot different than my mom and my godmother (native portguese speakers) doing the same thing
the kids of immigrants usually come up with their own unique way of saying things that are different than native speakers
if youâre writing a bilingual family the older kidsâll probably be more bilingual than the younger ones
also, to clarify: bilingual characters might say words in another language on purpose in front of non-speakers
either to fuck with them or just âcause the word captures what theyâre feeling more (i use âcaralhoâ a lot)â basically the point is that accidental switching is relatively uncommon
i know earlier i said that people will forget words if theyâre speaking their weaker language but tbh i do it with my stronger language too so really it works both ways
filler words are weirdly universal
so like while bilingual people donât usually switch languages around people who arenât bilingual weâll throw filler words in
âele me olhou e, like, eu juro que eu quase deu um soco nele-â
a lot of languages borrow words from english so itâs not too weird to have a random english word in an otherwise non-english conversation (my aunt @ my mom:Â âlilian vocĂȘ viu meu post no Facebook?â)
also sounds in general are just kind of a language transcending thing
you wanna find out what someoneâs first language was?? break one of their bones lol
legit me when i cracked my rib: âAIIIIIII JESUS CHRIST TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITALâ
so if your character gets hurt they might make a sound of pain associated with their native language but will probably still speak in the language of the people theyâre surrounded by. probably. it depends on just how much pain theyâre in
if two people start speaking another language in public thereâs a 40% chance theyâre talking shit and a 60% chance theyâre having a conversation like: âwhereâs the bathroomâ âi donât know, ask the waitress sheâs right hereâ âi canât just ask-â
One of the funniest things I ever experienced was when I went to go see John Mulaney live, and halfway through a bit about how expensive college in the States is, he looked down at the sleeve of his suit jacket and just. stopped. dead halt, mid sentence.
And after like three seconds, where weâre all trying to figure out the punchline because the story clearly hadnât ended, and John Mulaney quietly says, âHas there been tinfoil on my buttons the whole goddamn show?â
Heâd taken his suit to the drycleaner, and theyâd wrapped the buttons on the sleeves and the coat with tinfoil to protect them, and John Mulaney didnât notice until half-way through his set, and was SO FLABBERGASTED that he never did finish the story about college and instead did five minutes on how stupid it was that his buttons were reflecting the light and he just didnât notice, and in that moment I understood more about John Mulaney as a person than I ever have.
during one of his portland shows, he noticed this like 7 year old girl in the front row and asked her (and her parents) if she âis aware that she is physically here right nowâ or if she was just brought along. turns out her favorite john mulaney bit is the âand Iâm new in townâ bit and that sheâs seen all his stuff. He was so shocked and discomforted by the fact a SEVEN YEAR OLD has seen his shows, that he couldnât get through a bit about donating to charity without interrupting himself at least three times to import good life lessons on this small child, as if that makes up for all the horrible things heâs said that she heard
please god!!! please!!! watch phineas and ferb!!! the last two seasons are a shitpost!!! pl ease!!!
