“I’m glad I’m not the only one that keeps getting lost” Reginald nodded. It made him feel a little better that other kids in his year get lost too.

“Oh yeah, Mcgonagall are have actually gotten pretty close over it.” Emmeline half teased. She did spend a ridiculous amount of time with the professor due to her wandering aimlessly around.

“Wow, I don’t lost that often but it’s enough that she doesn’t ask why I go my detention” Reginald shrugged

Mary entered the bathroom with every intention of having a bath and finally relaxing after worrying about pointless things that probably would never happened. The one thing she wanted to bypass finally settled in her mind. Her parents would never get to know her unborn child. She sat down by the wall as if the emotion was far too much to deal with. “Shit..” She muttered and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and trying to push away anything she didn’t want to feel just like she always did.

“Pizza is always the best option, Reg,” Mary smiled. “You go order, I’m going to have a bath.”

Reginald chuckled at her response. “Of course dear. Enjoy your bath”

“You need more than wine for dinner dear” Reginald said as he opened a cupboard to see what was in there. “Yeah I think we need to go shopping. Maybe we should get take out or something?” He shrugged as he looked at the chicken, not sure if he actually wanted to trust it or not. 

“Well I do, now,” Mary mumbled and rolled her eyes. Damn she would miss wine. “Yes, take out is always the best option, pizza, Chinese or Indian?” She asked, heading for a drawer that contained a heap of menus. The chicken was discarded into the table immediately deemed unsafe for consumption. “What do you fancy?” She looked up.

“Pizza. Pizza is good” Reginald nodded “Unless you feel like something else?”

“You need more than wine for dinner dear” Reginald said as he opened a cupboard to see what was in there. “Yeah I think we need to go shopping. Maybe we should get take out or something?” He shrugged as he looked at the chicken, not sure if he actually wanted to trust it or not. 

“You could be an independent guy,” Snow insisted, pushing the bowl towards him as if prompting him to eat. “I’m not letting my - that evil witch control my life anymore. There are options,” she faltered. She wasn’t exactly living the highlife but at the same time she was free. “Exactly, because there are none. It’s all lies.”

“I could but I can’t” James said, disappointed in himself for not being strong enough to help his mother and the Kingdom. “I wish it was a simple as saying that but as long as you are doing things to avoid them they are still ruling your life” 

“Apparently you tried to dethrone her” James shrugged “I don’t really know the details, I’m given orders and I follow them. It’s best for everyone” James felt bad that he couldn’t do what he thought was right. He had to do what is father told him other wise his mother would lose everything “Except they aren’t looking for a princess they think they are looking for a murder”

Snow rolled her eyes, of course that was what the ‘queen’ would think. Making a claim to your rightful throne was a crime in her eyes and it always had been. “So you’re not an independent guy? That’s a shame, I was starting to like you.” She sat down and place a bowl of what looked vaguely like porridge on the table. “Oh really? Who have I murdered? Did I make the world a better place?”

“I wish I could be an independent guy” James shrugged “You know what it’s like living under the boot of someone” James didn’t want to admit what was going on. He couldn’t risk putting his mother in danger. “Same as before, I don’t know the details”

“Apparently you tried to dethrone her” James shrugged “I don’t really know the details, I’m given orders and I follow them. It’s best for everyone” James felt bad that he couldn’t do what he thought was right. He had to do what is father told him other wise his mother would lose everything “Except they aren’t looking for a princess they think they are looking for a murder”

“You should do your research before you turn a girl in,” Snow muttered and sat back down, “I’m not nice. If I were nice I would have let you go,” she frowned, “Now what are we going to do until they go away. They’ll no doubt send search parties for you… Perhaps you can be smuggled to the next village..”

“Well the only information we have is that you are a traitor so there wasn’t really a lot to look in to” James explained, he was starting to feel guilty for just assuming she was bad. “Perhaps, but I think people would recognize a Prince don’t you?

James chuckled slightly, “Well I shouldn’t be complaining if I get to spend the whole time looking at you” James shrugged at her question, he wished he had the courage to go rouge. “I was on the way to King Midas’s kingdom when one of my Knights spotted you. I sent they back for reinforcements and I came after you”

Snow rolled her eyes at his comment then stared at him for a moment in disbelief, “What?” She stood up and looked out the window, “You sent for reinforcements?” She immediately closed the shutters , “You idiot! And I thought for a moment you could be trusted even a little. You can’t leave now, not when there are knights combing the forest. You’ll have to stay here. You’ve already as good as ratted me out.”

“In my defense that was when I thought you were a mass murder and a traitor” James explained “I wouldn’t of done it if I had known you were this nice”
