hey guys not sure if any of you relate but personally ive been really big into stories lately. characters, even. i find myself impacted by fiction. yeah. that made-up stuff. this is just one brief look into my sick and twisted mind

let’s be real the pressure to use AI as an adult is exactly what they said the pressure the do drugs as a teenager would be like but the people that told us that caved immediately for the AI and definitely did not just say no

basically my continued survival hinges on talking about The Character

*while sewing*: you are a fabric. you can stay a fabric. you do not yearn to return to being string.

*while spinning*: you are a thread. you can stay a thread. you do not yarn to return to being fluff.

*while embroidering*: you are a thread on a needle. you can just exist as thread on a needle. you do knot yearn to become a tangle.

the Writer Mood™ when you've got the shadow of a concept of a scene and a couple lines of dialogue bouncing around in your head like a screensaver and you have to be like buddy, come back when you're something coherent. i can't do anything with this.

Worst of all: when you finally get to that scene, the lines flee your head entirely, never to return.

not to be a pedantic hater but i wish tumblr accent wasn't the commonly used term to describe tumblrina typing quirks and phrases bc that is Not an accent it's a dialect!!

what's the difference here?

A sociolect is when a community adopts the same varieties in language and grammar. Dialect is regional. I'd argue Tumblr has a sociolect. 🤓
