Our brand originally started as womenswear, and we introduced menswear about two years ago. What we try to do with our menswear is bring a sense of softness and femininity into it, to make it a bit more playful and expressive.

Because of that, someone even say what we make doesn’t really feel like “menswear” — but we’ve always stayed true to our vision.

I’m personally a big fan of Heated Rivalry, so seeing him wear our piece honestly meant a lot to me. In a way it reminds me of the message behind that show — being honest with yourself and trusting your own instincts is what matters the most.

But okay, some OTP stuff —

Squealing because he said 夫婿 (fuxu) for husband, which is what Yan Zheng was (a matrilineal husband). He didn’t use 夫君 (fujun) or even 丈夫 (zhangfu) which is the term when a woman marries into a man’s household. He is Yan Zheng here.

The guasha sequence is deserving a post of its own, but this sequence!!!

NGL this was kinda hot.

But also I feel like this is where his Yan Zheng jealousy (he’s in full marquis gear) and even though dude put on a mask on purpose to hide himself — it feels there is almost a “can she recognize me” feeling.

Like I think he knows she cares for Yan Zheng, but that’s the precise problem. Yan Zheng to him was this gentle facade (except it’s not really a facade but boy needs therapy to figure that out) and he doesn’t think she’ll accept the Marquis.
