6 years later, rex, now 15 in a new town and new school, has to do some sort of assignment on one time your family was famous for something and goes "hey remember that one time my brother went missing? ima do THAT" and processed to go on a spree of annoying bly into giving him the note (he knows he still has it), becoming maybe-more-than-friends with another new kid at his school (new kid bonding is a real thing), and finally figure out what happened to his brother on that night.
