I used to have this head-canon that (part of) the reason why Alberto suggested traveling the world was that there was a chance he could somehow find his father along the way

being a Luca fan is being torn between Alberto going to Genova and school with Luca and Giulia to preserve friendship/yaoi and Alberto staying in Portorosso because the father son relationship with him and Massimo is one of the most beautiful things ever

I always forget that the dad in Luca is disabled until I rewatch and for the first however long w's know him uou dont even notice he only has one arm until he makes a joke about a sea monster eating, then saying "I was born this way." he's such a badass. and i think good disabled rep? i'm not disabled so i can't say but very cool. 😃👍
