Basically, I am UNSETTLED and am now having to enter into an arms race of niceness and I am already so behind oh god.

Eldest child of an elitist family who was expected to perform very well in school. When they become a teenager they start spending more time away from home, frequenting less reputable crowds, building a reputation as a troublemaker. At the very least getting involved with drugs and alcohol.

Has a (slightly) more masculine given name but chooses to go by the more feminine version of that name, grows hair out, wears baggy clothing.

Younger child who is molded into the a "successful version" of the late elder child who failed to live up to the ideal of a "perfect son."

Charles can't even remember Ellie but subconsciously refuses to cut his hair out of some wistful reminder of them. So clearly having long hair was important to them.

None of this requires trans subtext ofc but despair time isn't afraid to touch trans stories so I'll advocate for it until proven otherwise. Even if they don't turn out trans I still think this general flow of character beats is correct.

it's kinda like the Circus in TADC, if yknow what I mean. There's A logic, but it's a little muddied and up to be messed around with for the bit.

One of the few none eldritch madness inducing areas is Etho's camp, which is a floating island filled with spruce trees and a recreation of Dogwarts from 3rd Life, and it's basically their and Skizz's home. They've even got the cobblestones and wood walls, and a little house in the center, and a campfire pit and farms set up around it.

It's also the only place that has a functional day/night cycle, but usually it's paused at sunset/midnight lol

If you find the edge of the forest, there's a chance that you'll find a bridge in the sky. It seems to be connected to nothing, but if you trust it just long enough, you'll find yourself in a combined living room / kitchen area.

This is basically the entrance to the Front, although I'm not 100% sure how to actually enter, as I am permanently stuck here. However Etho and Sammy have told me that it has to do with a secret door(???) that only appears if the Vibes are correct. I don't know what the fuck that means but sure alright

This main room is mostly just a gathering space to vibe in, and I can usually hear a least a little of the stuff that's said.

The other 'main' area are a couple of long winding hallways, lined with bedrooms (kinda like a hotel), each labeled with a name and an exterior that reflects the inside.

It should be noted that multiple starshards can inhabit the same room, in fact there's a few notable pairs like Bo & Mari, Joker & Kori, Nem & Hels, etc

the largest number of starshards that share a single room is.... technically unknown? we have a large amount of pokemon fragments, and they all collectively live in this separate dorm-esq room,

we don't know why there's just a few endless hallways of bedrooms that don't follow reality's rules, as nobody needs to sleep, but hey it gives them a sense of belonging.

In a tweet, Shun'ichi Toki stated that he thinks if Rui had a partner Pokemon, it would be Blacephalon (JP: Zugadoon).

currently for EN, I think the expert rank is held by Mizuki with Kitty at level 28, and I believe that both Kitty and Bakenohana are master 31, as well as a few other comms afaik....

this does raise the question, are there any master level 32 commissions........

I don't know the JP server as well, so I could be missing some there, however

Depends on the difficulty and I'm assuming we're excluding the commissioned high difficulty songs (like MGPD and Amara) but overall probably TONDEMO-WONDERZ.

Highest expert chart is Kitty, it's still the only comm with expert 28. Highest master is shared between Bug and TONDEMO-WONDERZ, both being 32. There's several 31s including MORE JUMP MORE, KILLER, Lower, etc.

Append is where it gets interesting, obviously not ever song has an append chart but a decent amount of comms do and some of these actually go past 32. Tondemo and Killer both have append 33 charts, and Fusion is a fucking 34. Overall hardest is kinda hard to settle on but it's probably Tondemo, Bug or Kitty. Tondemo and Bug are tied for easy (9), hard (19) and master (32). Tondemo has a higher expert and normal (27 and 14). Kitty ties with Bug for normal (13), has a higher hard and expert than both Bug and Tondemo (20 and 28), but a lower easy and master (6 and 31). Kitty also lacks an append and Bug's append is only 31.
