This account posts daily facts and trivia about Project SEKAI, as well as regular event specs! I occasionally do some essays and content overviews/news as well.
This account is currently operated by one mod and is scheduled to post daily at 5pm UK time. Occasionally I may randomly post about other stuff going on in the game. Asks are always open!

Rules:
Must be canon or otherwise official - Content from any server of the game (including cards, stories and songs etc), music videos, Petit SEKAI, official artwork or 4komas is OK! I will also accept content from the anthology mangas, magazine articles, and seiyuu content (including unofficial stuff so long as it is relevant to the game, like something they said on a personal livestream). In other words everything is fine except fandom stuff/unofficial fanworks.
If the fact is related to Vocaloid/Virtual Singers, it must be relevant to Project SEKAI in some way.
No leaks - Not really a hard rule you can still submit or ask about leaks I just will not post stuff related to them until they are officially released.
Please submit a source for your fact - a screenshot, image, video or link is OK! If you don't have any then that's fine, but please at least tell me what story/card/article/stream/etc is the source so I can get the screenshot/image/link myself.
If the source is not available on the EN or JP server, or is not available online, please attach an image/video! - I only play on the EN and JP servers, and will only be able to get screenshots and recordings of content available on those servers. If your fact relates to content exclusive to any other server or is from a physically published source and you do not provide an image/video, I can't accept the submission.
Asks are also open if you have any questions about a fact or if you have any general questions for me. Due to the amount of asks I get I cannot answer everything, if I skip your ask just pester me with it or something.
Tagging
Characters are tagged Firstname Lastname (excluding Vocaloids). For example, facts about Ichika will be tagged as Ichika Hoshino.
Events will be tagged using the fan translations from the Project SEKAI wiki, rather than the official English names. This is just for consistency so I don't have to go back and redo tags whenever EN changes a title.
The media will also be tagged (e.g: Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE or Petit SEKAI)
Send me an ask/comment if you need anything trigger tagged. Triggers will be tagged "[trigger] tw". Flashing lights is the only thing I actively tag atm.

Yes I am one person. I treat this blog like a full-time job.
EN player since launch, got the game for the Sonic costume, stayed for potato ni natte iku. Not joking.
I have a basic understanding of Japanese and am also entirely self taught. If I make any mistakes with my translations I apologise + please correct me!
I don't have a favourite unit but vbs has the best music. no i will not tell you who my oshis are or my opinions on ships. i like the vbs side characters (not the americans) and asahi and sakurako. i will tell you that much because i doubt how much people care about them.
I wrote the TVTropes entry in the header before the one other person who uses that site accuses me of stealing it. I haven't used tvtropes in a while now.

out of curiosity… which song has the most flick notes?
I assume it's one of the boss song medleys they released last year but for non-boss songs I think when one of my anons checked a few years ago it was Kimagure Mercy or Hiasobi. But that was 2 or so years ago it's probably changed since then
Related to song lengths: once Astronauts by Siinamota releases in the game, it's going to be the longest full version of a song in the game at 7:38. I really wonder how they're going to cut that song ngl.
(In case anybody's curious, I think the second and third longest songs would be That Summer Saturates at 6:31 and The Transient Apple Salesgirl at 6:01? Funny how both have Sekai versions, too)

not really anymore, i'm a lot more casual with it than i used to be and while i feel bad about being extremely slow to asks and also skipping half the stuff i get it's a lot better for my mental health. trying to be on the blog 24/7 stressed me the hell out once it started getting a lot of traction
Do you think they'll reveal something about her chilhood in kohane bloomfes or will it be super vague and focused on current events
i mean they'll obviously mention her childhood and she will turn into a kid but i don't think it'll be any major life changing lore revelation. Kohane's story starts at vbs mainstory very little happened to her before then and she was pretty unremarkable, she's very much a player insert in the way of getting to learn and integrate with the vivid street community and street music as a whole. but unless something crazy happens in vbs story that warrants it being focused on current events (like how her cfes was loosely based around lutf) i don't see them needing to do something like nene bfes and i think it will be largely focused on her growth from childhood to teenager.
still don't get why nene's bfes was so focused on pmm maybe this is their way of haphazardly inserting her into that plot with no prior setup. idk
Do you think they'll release a song shorter than hitorinbo or a more cost efficient than hard l&f or expert sage or will we be playing those until the end of time
i get the feeling there's an internal rule to not make add a song cut shorter than envy atp considering shrimp miku got fucking looped to make it longer
The cards from the Melody of Wishes gacha share designs elements between the characters who previously appeared on Colorful Festival gachas together. Miku and Luka (2nd Anniversary gacha) both have butterflies in their cards, the Kagamines (2.5 Anniversary gacha) both feature giant rings resembling musical waveforms, and MEIKO and KAITO both feature partially-formed spheres made from triangles.
you mentioned that mizuki got a live2d for ena5 where her hair is slightly messier. i cant tell the difference can u please show me
Here they are side by side. On the sad one you can see she's tilting her head down slightly (look at where her bangs start in proximity to the top of her head between both) and her fringe reaches down inbetween her eyes whereas it stops above her eyes on her normal one. Other than that they're identical

Saki's an option, but Miku isn't super likely because of the upcoming VS event (we don't have a confirmed slot beyond "2026 at some point", but August or anni are good picks). It's more likely to be Len/Ln girl imo
While Airi's room currently has a raised bed with a desk underneath, when she was younger, it had a second bed underneath it, indicating that she used to share a room with one of her sisters.

obviously leoneed, atp i think it'll be this month's lim event. ichika banner probably. next month wl3 is already scheduled other than that i reckon toya7 or rui/nene7 (i think rui is the better option storywise but i get the feeling they'll find a way to get a nene event in just to space out pmm and rui7). for the august lim either a mixed event or vsinger event, i don't think it'll be another hakolim.
