They cut the “nobody” scene?! They NEVER would have done that if they had adapted the Jorge Rivera-Herrans version!!!!

today's thought: post-torture rescue where they flinch away from your first touch, something small and tender like brushing the hair out of their eyes, and you pull away, but they're too injured to walk and you know you'll have to carry them out, so eventually you try slowly and carefully to pick them up, talking them through it, soothing them, taking as much care as you can with their injuries. at first they're tense and still shrink away, but when it registers that your touch is gentle they suddenly grab and cling to you with surprising strength, fists clenched in the back of your shirt and face buried in your shoulder. if you make any move that feels like pulling away they hang on even tighter, dragging their own broken body across the rough ground to be closer to you.

this disability pride month lets be kinder to folks with moral ocd . no more “if you really care about this minority , you’ll reblog this post” , “someone will die if you don’t reblog this” , etc etc , and all other kinds of guilt tripping reblog bait . at the VERY LEAST tag your reblog bait so we can filter it out and avoid unnecessary spirals . it’s 2026 , we need to move past using guilt to get engagement .
