Don’t you hate those newlyweds that are just super annoyingly cute? Cause I know I am one but I would for sure hit myself if I was any other person. Anyway, I have spent the entire morning of my only free day putting so much Christmas’s lights around our apartment that I’m pretty sure that I’ll regret when the light bill comes this month. But hey! Here is to the Christmas spirit!

BEAU: and then there was a card for anniversaries about how this turned longest one night stand ever and it made me think of you.

BEAU: and it made me think how no matter what happens, at least i have the hottest wife ever.

You know what you shouldn’t do when you are pregnant? Watch Coco. Especially when you are latina. I have cried my eyes out for the best part of two hours, then do it while I called my grandmothers to tell them how much I love them. Hormones are a powerful thing, really. 

That’s a good movie. But you know what really still gets me to this day? Marley & Me. Don’t watch that, they should have a warning that says ‘Do Not Watch While Pregnant’. Although I’ll admit that Jennifer Anniston and Owen Wilson as a couple isn’t believable.

I mean I’m not surprised. Men are idiots, trust me, I know. I’m speaking as one of those stupid men. How much do I have to pay to become a superhero though? Because I wanna be one very badly.

“You know you’ll be Uncle Gideon,” Robin beamed, knowing fully well how spoiled for ‘aunts and uncles’ her babies were going to be. Both she and Grant had plenty of siblings already, so add in the extended family Robin had grown up with, and they would barely be able to count them all. The idea made her happy; she knew how surrounded by love the twins were going to be. “Well, maybe so. They want it, though,” she shrugged, sending a bright smile toward the worker as they approached the counter. “No, you have to get your own. I’m eating for three, remember?”

"I wanna be the favorite uncle. How do I make that happen?” He would totally give them their first taste of weed eventually. “I thought you were just gaining weight, sorry. I forgot.” What not to say to a pregnant woman 101. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding. Here, how about you order and go sit down and I’ll grab our bowls for us.” He offered, “Sit near someone hot so I can flirt with them.”

Being a barista was the most thankless job in the world. At least in Shelby’s opinion. It wasn’t that she really hated the customers that came into the coffee shop but when she was recently out drinking her life away the night before it wasn’t always the most kind experience to her. Angry morning people who have yet to have their coffee were never on Shelby’s list of people she actually liked. It was clear she was definitely struggling. “Sorry for the wait.” she said not even looking up from the computer where she was putting in orders. The woman prior to this new customer had the most complicated order it made Shelby want to ask if she wanted any coffee with all that flavoring and milk but she bit back.”What can we get started for you?”

Even when he had somewhere to be, Toby didn’t want to sound impatient or rude. It took everything in him to not rush the woman into ordering. "It’s not a problem,” Toby insisted, “I still didn’t have enough time to make a decision. Do you think one shot of espresso could last me a whole eight hours? Or would it make more sense to go with two?” 

Sydney couldn’t help it, even in situations like this one, where she was freaking out and wanted someone else to deal with it for her, she just couldn’t help taking control. It was all in her personality, it was just who she was, so she shot Christopher an apologetic look. “Just type. Please,” she urged, her voice softer now. It was just a lot. This whole thing was a lot, and she’d been avoiding writing a response the whole day. If Chris did it, then it’d be done and that would be that.

Watching him type everything up, she chewed on the inside of her cheek in thought. “Yeah, I guess. Maybe ask her if she’d like one?” She suggested, Christopher’s question silencing her for a moment, before Sydney finally shook her head. “Honestly? I don’t know.” Her voice quietened further, to almost a whisper now. “I mean, I feel like meeting her is going to be even harder than the day we gave her up.”

"I’m typing, I’m typing,” He said defensively. At least sending an email back was easier than talking in person. He wasn’t sure what he’d do if he had to do that. He never expected her to reach out, especially once her eighteenth birthday came and went without anything. But now here they were, responding to an email. 

“Yeah, especially if you want this to be on her terms. I wanna know if her parents know that she’s reaching out,” He didn’t want to complicate the situation at all. However, she was legally an adult and could make her own decisions regarding this. Had it really been that long? Damn. “I’m not sure anything can be harder than that day,” Maybe it’s because this didn’t happen yet, he just couldn’t imagine it being harder than June 19th, 2000. Nothing was ever going to be that hard. “You wanna go get a drink or something?”

Rolling her eyes, Angie knew that Chris was being just too dramatic. She was going to be fine, there was no reason to worry like that. Yet, she knew it was sort of useless to fight her brother. “Yeah, yeah. I’ll bring everything to not die” When they were close, Angie was honestly confused. “You are not?” it was hard, to put her own feelings aside because she kinda got the girl. There was a lot of… Emptiness about her parents. “Okay, talk me about it. Tell me what is going on in your mind and we will figure out, okay? Promise” Her eyes moved around the kitchen. “Maybe we will need a bit of alcohol too”

“It’s just a tough situation. I don’t know how to introduce myself. I don’t even know what I’m feeling,” He felt numb yet felt like crying about it at the same time. Did that even make sense? “If I meet her, will she even like me? Or is she going to be at me for giving her up? She could really hate both me and Syd. I don’t know what I’d do then,” He’d probably just cry himself to sleep.  “Yeah, some drinks would be good. That way I guess I can stop thinking about it.”

“Hey, uh, no, it’s okay,” she promised, offering him a weak smile. It still hadn’t sunk in yet, the fact that she was pregnant. Sydney was fifteen, fifteen year olds don’t get pregnant, that’s not how it’s supposed to go. Unfortunately for her, and for Chris, she had numerous positive tests to prove it, as well as doctor confirmation, and she could no longer keep it to herself. Chris deserved to know, and to know the plans she’d already begun to make, too. Sydney was usually such a straightforward person, but in this instance, she didn’t know where to begin. Her voice shook slightly as she forced out her words. “Chris, I’m pregnant.”

Ending up in bed with her was something that he definitely didn’t plan. “Pregnant?” He chuckled, “Good one.” He was always pretty careful. And it wasn’t like he had sex as often as he claimed. 

“Hey,” He paused, looking at her. “What’s up?” There had to have been something up, they wouldn’t just be meeting up again. Unless she wanted to sleep with him again, in which case he’d be down for. Did she wanna talk about their night finally? Even though it happened a while ago? “Sorry I haven’t called you or anything.”
