Sabrina was too overwhelmed when she stepped out of the bar, feeling her whole body tense. She had planned to enjoy an evening out with her co-workers, nothing too extravagant, but the conversation had moved in a direction she did not predicted. Most of the time, people refrained from asking about her family, used to her short answers, but something in the alcohol must have made them incredibly curious. So much, that the girl was forced to form lie after lie, until the only thing she wanted was to throw up. They couldn’t have notice anything, considering her perfect frozen smile, but after a few minutes she had to excuse herself from the table to get some minutes alone. Outside, the air was warm as she pressed herself against the wall, closing her eyes and letting out a sigh. Now she just needed to figure out a excuse so she could go home and hate herself in the peace of her own home.

DONOVAN: Hey. I had to go into work and do some inventory on some items. I forgot I need to get some orders in by today.

DONOVAN: I won't be home for dinner, so you can grab something without me.

The last thing Mark wanted to do was visit Jessica at work. He was fearful he would run into Kristy and things would be weird. And if Jessica was able to tell something was up, he was never going to hear the end of it. But he promised he’d stop by and bring Jessica a cup of coffee. He wasn’t planning on staying very long. He was fully prepared to make a run for it whenever he needed to. Literally. He’d decided to jog to the coffee place near her work because he knew if he showed up sweaty and gross, Jessica wouldn’t want him around for very long. He made his way inside as he used his free hand to reach up and remove one of his headphones from his ear. A deep breath left his lips as he lips as he turned to see Kristy. Of course, she’d be the first person he saw. “Hey...” He coughed out, awkwardly. He let out a soft sigh as his eyes glanced around the room. “Jessica around?”

Audra really didn’t have all that much experience with relationships. She’d had a few here and there, but in school she kept mostly to herself, and now that she was in Tease, it was even harder to find people to date, since they were on the road so much, so she didn’t really try. So, the entire idea of Lydia came out of nowhere. Still, it was nice to have someone who was around for her to give attention to, to get attention from. Sure, they were in Chicago now and weren’t traveling, but when they did get back to touring, Lydia would still be around. It was a comforting thought. A thought that had Audra ginning as she sat back down on the couch next to the other girl, a bowl of pretzels in hand for them to snack on while they watched their movie. She set the bowl down on the table in front of them, and used one of her now free hands to gently pull Lydia to look at her. “I have something serious that I need to ask you?” She said, letting her voice crack a bit, she bit her lip to steady it. “Should I heat up some cheese dip for the pretzels?” She asked, a large smile spreading across her face. 

Kya really wasn’t much of a fan of most kids, she liked her own, and she liked the other ones she was related to, but other than that, she didn’t like them. Still, it was part of being a mom, dealing with kids coming over for playdates, so she tried not to get too apprehensive about Kennedy’s new friend coming over today. However, her annoyance, from before Gabe even showed up, was unneeded. He seemed like a pretty cool kid, him and Kennedy played well together, and he was well-behaved enough that she didn’t mind having him around. Now, the two sat at the counter, Kya making them a snack, while they waited for his ride to come pick him up. “So kid, tell me about yourself.” She said as she sat a plate of fruit in front of them both. “You got siblings? Who’s coming to get you, your mom?” She asked, trying to make conversation with him.
