I really dislike that the angle here is that Buttigieg should drop out because he isn't "gay enough." It's one thing if you were talking about multiple kinds of voting blocks, but the fact that it's just a screen shot of LGBTQ+ voters is messed up.

Most of us have determined that he is unqualified based not only on his own privileges but on his absolute failure to demonstrate any worthwhile awareness of experiences outside of his own, or to reflect them in his policy positions. It’s not about policing identities, it’s about him being unqualified to represent most of us. and just speaking for myself, I’m really tired of having to produce an essay to explain to largely cis straight people (and the occasional white, cis, gay person) why the straightest, whitest, cis-est joke of a gay man (his last name LITERALLY STARTS WITH BUTT COME ON) doesn’t represent me or understand my concerns.
