the talking mickey segment was something genuinely deeply impressive to me, because it takes four people coordinating constantly, thinking on the fly, keeping in contact as subtly as possible, all to bring one character to life for one single interaction. it reminds me of why i love theatre so much–the creation of art is often a team effort, and the fact that they actually pulled it off more often than not is a testament to how drift compatible humans can be when they really care about a project. for every actor on stage, theres numerous crewmembers in the wings and booth keeping everything running, preparing costumes for quick changes, calling cues, searching for props, etc. and i love that part of humanity, doing all of this in order to bring art to a room full of people. kevin's point about human connection making things like that and the crush talk such magical experiences really is the core of it all. there's nothing quite like being in the same room as the people on (and off) stage as they all perform their roles. it's so electric.
