i was actually really curious how laser would work on darker skin because the way the doctor explained it to me the laser follows the color of your hair down to the follicle. that’s why it works best when you have dark hair. but if your skin is dark too idk how effective it is.

I don’t want the hyperpigmentation to get worse. That’s my main concern.

From my understanding they use a different laser for people with dark complexion. I know that Jackie Aina gets laser and if I remember correctly she goes to Laser Away. Maybe? Also i know you didn’t ask, but i want to warn you that laser fucking HURTS. It starts out nice and you’re like okay cool i can handle this…. Until they turn up the setting. To me it kinda feel like someone is taking the hot end of a lighter and poking you with it repeatedly. Other people say it feels like someone is snapping you with a rubberband. Just be prepared lol because I wasn’t. It’s worth it though!
