Girly girl some people are "trying" for years and they want a WHY, not an "omg jus do it" I understand that shifting is relatively easy once you do it multiple times but it's not the norm it's exception 😭

Just because there are people who shift while shitting doesn't mean ppl who've been trying to shift for years are just dumbasses who can't do something so easy "shifting is as easy as breathing" is an AFFIRMATION, it was made to make people believe it's easy and that they can do it, it's kind of a motivational.

I get a lot of people ask me why they can't shift, and i don't know! I don't have a certain answer to that. There are possible reasons but they're just possibilities, in the end of the day you're gonna sit with yourself and make it happen. Somehow. I won't brush them off saying "gosh, just do it! So easy!" But I also won't make a pity party and say "oh baby, shifting is so hard and only a minority of lucky people can do it! I'm sorry" like that's not the case. You feel me?

HI SHIFTBLR! I'm back with a big post.

So, I've been on tiktok lately and i've been seeing a lot a lot a LOT of people talking about how to awake shift and it really inspired me to speak on my experience because i don't really see that many people share their awake shifting experiences in detail.

Just for context, I use my own method to awake shift. It's fairly easy. All it takes is patience and some free time, that's all.

There's this girl on tiktok named Kas who PERFECTLY encapsulated my METHOD in a video but in way better words. She defined shifting as DISCONNECTION, IDENTIFICATION, AND RECONNECTION! That is exactly it! Most people get stuck on Disconnection and give up. I often get really bored before this part but trust me that's just your ego trying to stop you! Don't ever listen! You could live your dream life rn babes why would you quit?!?

So, THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT WHILE AWAKE:

I meditate by breathing in like 2-5 times, sometimes i do it for longer but i find that if i do it for too long, i end up falling asleep. This step is important but it shouldn't be overdone because your body isn't even needed to shift.

i immediately start on DISCONNECTION. I tell myself "I am disconnected from my current reality. I am not this body / vessel" until i start to feel a little floaty.

After feeling floaty, i'm still feeling connected to my CR but i kinda ignore it and just skip straight to connecting to my DR SELF via identity affirmations.

Usually at this point i start to visualize where i'll wake up and sometimes i get so deep in it that i dont even have to do CONNECTION because i'll start hearing stuff from my DR or feeling stuff. Like if i'm petting my cat, i'll subtly feel her fur but like in my CR if that makes sense?? It's like i can FEEL it as my DR self but my CR self is feeling the sensations. I actually hate this because it feels like a game of cat n fucking mouse. Like whats the point of that "phantom" ass feeling? Just shift and feel it for real lmaoo!!

I'm going to try to explain this as best i can: When I shift while awake, it's lik the reality fades in. Like, I'm in my CR doing affs, and then all of a sudden i'm in my DR. . . there is no distinction of travel between the two. i'm just here one moment and then the next im in my DR. I can never predict the exact moment because it just happens and im not even really paying attention when it does. I just notice that i'm there, yk?

lately i've been getting bored after the feelings stop, so i just kinda give up :/ but i still hear stuff from my DR so i count that as a partial shift, aka shifting regardless!!!

you don’t need physical proof to ‘fully believe’ that you are there. remember, you are consciousness which means you are the source. as the source → you create forms of consciousness. so if i imagine a cake it’s no less real than one in the physical world. 

awareness is simply reflecting what you declare as true. what is true will always bloom.

you (awareness) decide that you have shifted → treating the choice as proof rather than what you see → will be interpreted as reality.

The problem that everyone runs into, and some people get stuck there while others abandon it, is the victim mentality.

accept that you’re not a freaking victim of a circumstance you mentally created. Stop the woe is me BS. Your imagination is your canvas, you’re the artist, so why are you painting a sad picture if you hate depressing art? You’re picking up the brush to paint your own problems, then you get mad and punch holes in the painting you made. Throw that shit in the trash and light it on fire, it doesn’t serve you.

What. you. focus. on. GROWS. I really don’t care if you feel like you’re lying to yourself or not. Think & speak of the things you WANT, not the stuff that stresses you out. You can feel your feelings, you can have bad or lazy days— what you can’t do, however, is spend every single day hating on everything that exists, only to ask yourself why everything sucks. It’s cause your mindset sucks.

the thing that screams to me when i look at the new blog, as well as it did on the previous one, is jelousy towards more popular blogs out there. i'm not a cunt and won't hide behind anon, also i don't have a problem with writing this on my main and maybe suffer consequences.

it screams bitterness for not achieving anything positive on your account. also, is seeking popularity on shiftblr something wrong? NO. i don't see y'all hating on people with influencer realities, so what's your problem when some of us live that life in this one? i'm not calling anyone, especially myself, an influencer, but you get the idea: some of blogs have more followers and engagement than others and it's okay! and guess what? it's simply nice and enjoyable when people like interact positively with you, but what would you know about that...

and the moodboard part? are you fucking serious? you're not superior over people because you don't post reality content. you're not some kind of lawmaker, saying what we can't and cannot post. making moodboards ISN'T treating shifting as fandom. it's simply having fun and sharing your experiences in other realities. some people use this as a scripting method, some just want to have this type of content. like, what's wrong with that? shiftblr isn't lacking advice, we already have most of the information we need there. simultaneously, i'm not saying that posting advice/information is stupid, i do this myself and i would be very hypocritical if i suddenly started condemning it, but guess what? everyone can post whatever they want and it doesn't make them fake shifters!!!!

don't get me started on the superiority part... JUST. BECAUSE. WE. WANT. TO. SHARE. OUR. EXPERCENCE. OR. OBSERVATION. DOESN'T. MEAN. WE. CONSIDER. OURSELVES.
