Man, today was a very hectic day, not only did I have classes and training today I also had to go to two separate missions! The first one was pretty easy, since the curse was only a third grade but the second mission was so annoying!! It was a first grade cursed spirit and kept teleporting us at random places, it was sooo frustrating! At least I had Nobara and Maki to help me if not it would have been a tough tough fight. Thankfully after the fight we still had some time to grab some sweets and even visit the new bookstore since I wanted to buy a new manga, I also got a real cute pic of us 😼🤭. And ofc we manipulated Gojo sensei to buy us dinner (˶>⩊<˶)/

people telling you otherwise are just speaking from their own limitations and you have no reason to listen to them. you don’t have to agree with certain beliefs if they don’t align with what feels right to you. you don’t have to accept anything people say if it feels limiting or wrong!

always listen to yourself first. your intuition will guide you far better than outside noise ever could. you are allowed to follow what makes sense to you, because:

Some people like those coffee beans that come out of certain kinds of poop, and although not everyone will understand that, they can still enjoy that cup of coffee.

There are many realities, and many different shifters. Some might have preferences that others don't understand, but that doesn't immediately make them wrong or bad.

Some people like spending half an hour making coffee. They weigh their beans, they have all this fancy equipment, and enjoy the art of making the perfect cup. Others can't be arsed and they rather just throw some coffee concentrate together with milk or sugar. Similarly with shifting, some people might really like methods, or scripting. They can spend hours doing something shifting related, simply because they enjoy the process, and it suits them. Others roll over and night with a single affirmation, and don't even have any scripts.

Is either of these wrong, or bad? Nope! Whatever aligns for you, to make your perfect cup of coffee, is all that matters!

As long as you don't force yourself to make that difficult cappuccino, just because you feel like you HAVE to. And as long as you know that even if you prefer the longer process, it's still okay to have days where you simply just don't feel like doing all that.

There is no guidebook to shifting, there are no rules, or musts. Whatever feels right for you, will be right, I promise. It's your journey, so own it💚

I genuinely cried a little reading this.

Happy tears though. Because this literally means the world to me. If I can be the reason that someone gets closer to something as beautiful and freeing as shifting, it feels like I am holding the sun in my chest with how intensely the joy is spilling out like blinding streaks of sunlight.

This is such an honor to me and I hope I continue being someone worthy of such high praise.

I just wanted to say though, your belief in shifting is solidifying purely because of your own self !! I might have talked about shifting but your brilliant mind and soul are truly making it magical for you. It resonates with you because you recognise shifting as something you were meant to find, something you were meant to do.

I can't believe the UA Sports Festival has already been announced! Like I'm confident in my ability but I genuinely have a bad feeling that I might have to spar with Bakugo in the festival! He's so scary (⁠⊙⁠_⁠◎⁠). I'm also pretty worried about that Todoroki guy, he's always so straightforward! I feel like I'll get my ass beaten there (⁠ ⁠･ั⁠﹏⁠･ั⁠). Maybe I should ask Nejire to train with me since our quirks are very similar \(⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)/

　　　they may mock us , copy us , discredit us , westernize us , but they can never be us . the originals do it better , we all know that ( cough cough dupatta vs . . . whatever scarf ) && see it in real time . our cultures are one of the biggest reasons some people may be shaking with anger and devote themselves to calling out our flaws , but that's what jealousy does to you . it blinds you and honestly , sucks to be them . i'd rather have my spices than eat something bland , sorry not sorry . it's just the fact , and if this offends you in any shape or form , then that's honestly not my problem because south asians have been living a life of toleration . they may also say we're stealing their jobs , well then come and get it ??? don't blame us for your low efforts and skills . this month is for all the girls who grew up resenting their skin tones and wanted to brighten it , for the boys who tried to fit into different friends groups and become apart of their culture for popularity , for the moms who look for the newest makeup product to make themselves whiter , for the dads who get quieter around non asian men because of their own accents , for the people who have to endure someone mocking them without being able to say anything , for the people who don't feel accepted by their families because south asian families are keen on reputation , for the people who don't understand their identity yet and struggle to find it alongside being a south asian , for the ones who live daily lives with someone in their ear saying they're well spoken for whatever race they are , and more . this month is for you !!! don't ever forget your roots . you are loved and appreciated . we did it first x

　　　the om symbol is not only for yoga . yoga is not a " clean white girl " aesthetic . bindis , mehendi , dupattas , and jhumkas were apart of our cultures first , not something made in scandinavia . shifting is deeply rooted in hinduism and buddhism . those bracelets are called churiyan . chai tea is basically saying tea twice . the " boho / hippie " look . . . right . i hateee seeing people hate on our cultures but you guys are wearing , doing , or eating something inspired ( but watered down to fit the westernized standards ) by our cultures .
