Around these parts (middle-England) we have a charming colloquialism, “She’s gorra face like a bulldog chewing a wasp”. Roughly translated, it means that she either has a very ugly face, or a face with a very ugly look on it. ‘She’ may also have “a face like a smacked arse,” which means she looks like she’s not happy about something, she may even be “mardy”, which is shorthand for petulant.
