(This series may or may not have also started me on putting highlights directly in the center of the pupil which I’m lowkey obsessed with doing rn, highly recommend it)

Theres a bit of character and grit in the initial design that I believe I lost in the "final" design, but the final design reflects in game equipment and gear so I feel I need to find a way to combine both designs into something clearer. The trench-coat stays and slays no matter what though.

Are the characters super accurate? No. Was I going off vibes? Yes. Is the background borrowed from a screenshot of the show? Yes. Do I think about them constantly? Yes.

So anyways here’s a lil something something I turned out while watching, a more Ancient John and a more Wraith Teyla, just for vibes. (Also man the ancients have terrible fits I’m just throwing that out there)

Deadlands character idea…if I had a way to play Deadlands!!! 😔 anyways she’s an ex-outlaw living in solitude and haunted by the spirit of the last person she killed. That is all. Thank you.

Lug being the cast’s straight man reacting to this strange small cult man is still one of my favorite bits of the first Wyrdwood episode.

Oxventure Deadlands season 2 finale took me out. I specifically requested no more sad but there was much sad. 10/10. Need 10 more seasons immediately.

I’ve still been slowly catching up on the Oxventure podcast while at work and just finished the Extinction season. I was gladly surprised with the Corazon centric seasonal finale and thought his internal reflection was fascinating, I just wish we were able to see more of it! The whole dungeon crawl and boss battle in the Curse Hole had me stressed out so much that I’m sure my coworkers thought I was going insane. The Oxventure crew has a special place in my heart and I’m excited for some more Blades in the Dark and Deadlands on my horizon!

I wanted to embellish Gimli a bit more to call back to his origins from the Lonely Mountain after its reclamation and the abundance of wealth that would have been dispersed through the Hobbit’s company of dwarves and their families. I love his weapons in the movies though so the sort of cut out style is only a bit altered (and more poorly executed) in my design.

I have not known peace since I discovered I can draw Transformers. They’re crawling at the back of my mind when I’m doing commissions trying to get out. Anyways, here’s my sweet son: Armada Starscream.
