𧨠Our five neβer-do-wells have started their new life as a band of monster hunters for hire. But when mysterious forces threaten one of their own, it sets in motion a high-stakes adventure that they may not all survive.π΄ π΅
Deadlands Season Two arrives Friday, March 21st simultaneously on YouTube and the Oxventure Podcast!π
Thanks to Colin Craker for this gorgeous art!
Luck pervert.
Lug being the castβs straight man reacting to this strange small cult man is still one of my favorite bits of the first Wyrdwood episode.
may or may not have caused the hosts of the Mom Can't Cook podcast to read a bit of WARHOUND
this post is so hard to write because there's the venn diagram of people who know either hardly ever touch. but basically Mom Can't Cook - a podcast where two british men in their 30s(?) talk about Disney Channel Original Movies
WARHOUND - progenitor (i think) of the mechsploitation genre, in layman's (and very reductive) terms extreme petplay, mindbreak, identity death, with mechs. etc.
anyways, MCC has a patreon tier where they read out the names of the members at the end of each episode, and the one from two weeks ago featured the name "Read WARHOUND". I thought "oh! neat. i love WARHOUND. but also for good measure i'll just leave a comment letting them know that they might wanna double check recommended media in case this is something they're worried about.
fast forward to two weeks later, today's episode features a bit of preamble before the reading out of the names. specifically:
we're gonna have to bleep out the inappropriate names for good measure (they were super funny but unfortunately we have to do this)
we're gonna bleep out any recommended media in the names because we can't go around checking if any of them are actually like super problematic (and so far they're not!, but just to be sure)
anyways, the "so far none of them are problematic" implies that like, they at least had a cursory look at WARHOUND. which i find really funny.
Like my first in 2019, my gingerbread build for 2024 is once again Oxenture themed. That one was a ship, this is a tree. Kind of. It's supposed to be the tree city from the excellent new oxventure wyrdwood campaign. Now, it did end up more of an overconfident tree house, so let's just call it lightly inspired π
I genuinely didn't even know if this one would be possible. The amazing power of subbomness π

Lego Oxventure - Dread 2025 Canoe Escape
Today's the day, Happy Halloween everybody. And what better to post than a visual chronicle of Optimus Pine himself from the unbelievably tense Dread 2025 episode.
Made a post for Johnny so I think I make this one about Mike. To paraphrase a quote from Ellen "My favorite Mike is the Carly Rae Jepsen fan".
Lug
It's been a wee while, but ahead of the @oxventure Wyrdwood livestream I wanted to finish a painting of Lug I've had on the boil for bloody ages. So this is what I sent in, along with an updated version of my Corazon painting which is **gasp** 3 years old now.
I just upgraded my iPad to a Pro (refurb!) and got a nice set of oil brushes from MaxPacks to coax me into practising more.
Will it work? Or will I end up just watching YouTube and doomscrolling on a slightly bigger screen? Who's to say...
