At the end of the day, everyone has preferences, and we're all here for the love of all monsters regardless of how they look.

Adrien potentially becoming a pariah because of his father being a supervillain is an argument for lying to the public, NOT to Adrien. I'm actually kinda okay with her lying to the general public, mostly because there IS a high chance of Parisians turning on him unfairly.
