Rating Episode Titles

*Opinions not based on the contents of the actual episode*

In The Dark Night of the Soul It’s Always 3:30 in the Morning: 14/10- So ridiculously and aggressively specific and dark for no reason at all, and I love it. We stan unnecessarily chaotic titles.

A Seat at the Table: 5/10- It’s fine, nothing particularly interesting about it. 

Chaos Is the New Cocaine: 10/10- Immaculate. Matches the chaotic vibe of the show. Wonderful.

That Woman: 2/10- Points only because I read it in such an angry voice and it’s kinda funny.

No One’s Gonna Harm You, Not While I’m Around: 8/10- Another long title which I appreciate. I’m a theatre nerd and in this episode they sing a Sweeney Todd song and named the episode after it. Also, because I’m a theatre nerd, so I enjoy that.

The Pendulum Swings: 6/10- Creative and good wording. Implies conflict. Kind of boring. 

Open Waters: 7/10- I like it. But like why do so many shows feel the need to have something about water in an episode title? Like for real, I don’t get it.

Lonely at the Top: 9/10- I quite like this one, because like. . .it’s true. It’s classic, and fitting.

Play the Queen: 6/10- Short and Sweet. I’m not sure why I like it.

The Interview: 1/10- BORING. There is nothing fun about that title at all. Nothing creative. What a boring way to end the show.

First You Dream, Then You Die: 11/10- Very creative, very interesting, very original. I liked it so much that I named a blog “firstyoudreamthenyoudie”. Great way to start the show.

Nice Town You Picked, Norma. . .: 10/10- It’s really sarcastic and I’m here for it. It’s also an actual line in the episode.

What’s Wrong With Norman: 1/10- Lame. There is nothing fun or creative about this title and it sounds like a title for an episode of something you’d see on a show for four year olds. Also the title has no question mark in it, so points off for punctuation.

Trust Me: 7/10- Ironic, because like. . .I mean have you watched the show?

Ocean View: 6/10- Gives good vibes, kind of misleading, but it’s nice anyway. Very average.

The Truth: 2/10- Very boring. Literally nothing interesting about it, and kind of a spoiler.

The Man in Number 9: 10/10- Very intriguing and cool. Makes you want to watch it. I very much like this one.

A Boy and His Dog: 5/10- Fine, nothing special about it. Not one that you read and think “hmmm”.

Underwater: 7/10- One word titles are cool and seemingly dangerous, makes you wonder what is actually underwater.

Midnight: 9/10- Curious and mysterious, but the one word title got repetitive, pick either long or short titles for your series, not both.

Overall Score- 6.8/10
