Kill Bill

That drawing of Liz is the worst one yet! What's going on with this issue? I almost never do this, but the art is going to be the thing that bumps this issue down to only four stars! It's still really good though! I like that we learn the illusions only worked because Peter was already doubting himself. It makes it feel less like it was super easy to trick him, and more like Mysterio managed to play on his vulnerabilities when he was in a rough place and people were turning against him! It also could be that his Spider-Sense doesn't react to the illusions, which is what makes them feel less real, but that only works when he trusts his senses!

Just a short one today, but this is a fine little experience. It's a simple walking simulator where you navigate some caves in search of missing people, with the environment itself slowly growing and shifting around you until it resembles more of an organism than a cave. That's quite the neat idea, making the setting of the game interesting and a little fun to explore while simultaneously adding to the feeling of nervousness. Additionally, some of the ambient noises are effectively creepy and will have you checking your back at first due to being played out of view. It seems to have taken inspiration from the classic Minecraft cave sounds that notoriously scared its players, they felt pretty familiar to me anyway as a certified victim.

While hardly special, I think Cave Crawler did enough right to have warranted a positive score if not for a couple of issues. Firstly, the camera controls are just too slow and the actual movement is a bit too restrictive. It doesn't always get in the way much, I wouldn't think kindly of this game if it did, but you will feel it and it can be especially intrusive when having to do any backtracking for something that you missed. The other issue is a bit more inconsequential but I wasn't a fan of the occasional shadowy figure jumpscares that this game has, they feel out of place and a little cheap, like they're there for a youtuber to react to. Kind of weird how that continues to be a problem I bring up in these posts isn't it?

10 / 10 ⋮⋮ Big fan of these styles, they are absolutely my favorites! The sharp look is downright stunning, even with his more toonish appearance [as seen in shorts] he is still so very handsome! Truly deserves a chef's kiss. Or a kiss from me, eehehehe..

8.5 / 10 ⋮⋮ I've always been interested in knowing more about this version of Black Hat! I like the subtle hair and various outfits on this design, but there is unfortunately not much for me to go off of.

Black Hat (Redesign)

7.3 / 10 ⋮⋮ I love the artstyle they used for this, definitely got sharper and lean which we all love, but I do have my critiques for this design in specific .. I feel as though there are way too many new color additions to the point they cannot all compliment each other. His upper body looks a lot wider than the rest of his form, an interesting design exaggeration in my opinion, not sure how to feel about it. Don't get me wrong, I love him all the same, but I can't be biased about this one!

5 / 10 ⋮⋮ I don't have a romantic attraction to this one as he speaks incoherently, and seems more to me like an animal than not. I love him in the same manner as one would love their own dog!

6 / 10 ⋮⋮ I used to be absolutely livid with anger whenever this man showed up on my screen for no reason. Every time I looked at him I thought of Markiplier because he sounds almost exactly like Markiplier.. :sob: , though, I am starting to warm up to him strangely enough! Not much else to say about him,,

White Hat (Heroic AU)

10 / 10 ⋮⋮ AAACK.. He's so adorable and handsomee.. I feel the same way for him as I do for Black Hat, he's a big comfort character as I can imagine his warm personality!

Female Black Hat (Fanmade)

4 / 10 ⋮⋮ I feel as though a lot of the female Black Hat designs I've seen have overly exaggerated features, there's not much an appeal for me personally either since I am straight, but I think a select few of them are pretty.
