I was having issues with no audio coming from my Logitech UE9000 Bluetooth headphones on Windows. Since those cans support aptX, some Googling for the manufacturer and model of my PCâs Bluetooth card along with âaptXâ came up with this. I installed the drivers and still had no audio, but under the UE9000â˛s listing in the Sound control panel, I now had the option to disable aptX. Unchecked it and voila! Sound!

He was waiting for an elevator on the Apple campus and when it got there, Steve Jobs and Jony Ive were inside having a conversation. The developer gets in, hits the button for his floor, and just keeps to himself while the pair talk. After a minute, Jony Ive notices the guy's shoes and says, âHey, those are really cool shoes! Steve, arenât those cool shoes?â
Steve looks only at the shoes and doesn't do anything to even acknowledge the guy, just nods. Thatâs it. Ive doesnât even act like this is weird. They then just go back to their conversation.

Electrostatic fabrics are usually made out of polyester because polyester can pick up a static charge really easily. It can do that because it has the ability to steal loose electrons from another material. When it steals these electrons (through mechanical rubbing...you're actually rubbing electrons off the thing you're dusting), it acquires a negative charge... the surface you just rubbed it on now has a positive charge and so do any dust particles on that surface.  The positively charged surface is attracted to the cloth, but it can't move any closer. The dust particles can move so they do. They have a net positive charge and are attracted to the negative charge on the fabric.

Saw this acronym in another FatWallet forum post and seems exclusive to there (and probably just the Finance forum).
Because Iâve known about RAID for 20 years and I still canât get the levels straight except for 0 and 1. Seems like 5 is the best one if you want redundancy without breaking the bank or waiting 20 years for your online backup to restore everything you lost on your NAS.

Finding a new annoyance with the OnHub now. The autoswitching of bands was novel at first, but now my media device keeps randomly getting toggled...
Product manager for OnHub explains that the smart switching for Wi-Fi frequencies only changes the CHANNEL for each frequency and has nothing to do with what frequency your device tries to use. Thatâs a bummer since my devices keep hitting 2.4, and itâs noticeably slower when Iâm trying to stream since it drops to 802.11n speeds. He did say that they were working on a way around it on their end, but that was in October 2015. Maybe weâll see it in Google Wifi?
I've been told that the correct pronunciation is "Raysh", but most people would likely read it as "Rawz". In the show, I've heard it both ways....
Working my way through Arrow: Season 2 and this was bugging me (and it also did in Nolanâs Dark Knight trilogy) since I grew up with the âRayshâ pronunciation in the DCAU. Thereâs even an episode of Batman Beyond where Terry gets corrected for saying it wrong, though he says it âRazzâ.
