Note: The end of this fic made me wonder what would've happened if V went to find you since we see V is skeptical around J's lies in the show 🤔
Yandere! Serial Designation J HCs
(Murder Drones - Disassembly Drone! Reader)
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

J on the surface comes off as very guarded.
Many write her off as a tsundere who is cruel and focuses on her job.
Yet upon doing research on her character... she's definitely more emotional and vulnerable than that.
She masks her true fears behind the persona of a leader for V and N...
But she is shown to be terrified of Cyn/The Solver... which is why she works for them.
I always thought all the Disassembly Drones had their memories wiped... but J's memories seem to be intact upon looking into my research.
It seems like V's were slightly tampered and N was completely altered... but J was aware of everything.
J is said to be a loyal character to those she works with and enjoys.
She does care for V and N... and was also shown to care for Tessa before Tessa's death.
She is shown to be ruthless to N... which brings me to my personal theory...
I think J can be a jealous person.
Back in the manor... N often sparked joy in Tessa, which J seems envious of in my eyes as she views Tessa as a close friend.
So that makes me think J would react to jealousy with some violence.
She can also be a selfish person, often prioritizing her own interests and safety over anything else.
Based on my research on her character... This is what I came up with for J.
J would be a yandere who often masks her true feelings and behavior from her obsession.
She probably struggles with being close to others due to what she knows... and what The Solver did to Tessa.
She used to express her emotions back when she was a worker drone... even clingy around Tessa sometimes...
So whole I think she cares for her obsession a lot... she'd hide her feelings behind the arrogant mask she usually keeps on.
She's great at planning and tends to belittle others... Yet around you she hesitates.
You make her feel so strange... so strange it's distracting.
She wants to hate these feelings as they're so familiar...
But soon she can't bring herself to... which leads to her stalking you and trying to find ways to vent her thoughts and feelings.
Considering what we see in the 'Meet J' short... she probably goes to her secret room to try and vent what her obsession makes her feel.
I feel like J definitely struggles with how to deal with this sudden surge of emotions.
Whenever you're nearby... Working is difficult.
You make her tail wiggle, which with the anxiety she's already trying to hide...
It might make her yell at you a bit.
She probably would hesitate to harm you... but she's definitely irritable or jumpy.
Even more so as she's a jealous person.
Assuming you're also a Disassembly Drone... she wouldn't want the other to ruin your... productivity.
You're a reliable asset... yes... that's definitely how she feels... right?
That's mostly just her excuse.
Similar to my theory about how she feels with N and Tessa... I think she'd definitely get defensive about you.
She doesn't like you around N because he's an idiot in her mind...
She doesn't like V near you because she mostly does the work for sadistic pleasure....
So to her, she feels she's the best around you.
She's always been arrogant....
J may also be overprotective with her obsession as she sees herself as the leader of the group.
Since she's been shown to be aware of The Solver... she may be scared that The Solver will take you from her.
I think J would be scared of abandonment... since she lost Tessa and became forced to listen to The Solver/Cyn... who is wearing the skin of her friend.
J knows that if you die... you will be brought back...
But she doesn't want to see such a thing.
J may act all arrogant around you... acting like she knows best and is just looking out for you...
She's acting on the fear that she could lose another person near her.
J hovers around you, claiming she's observing your lethality or something...
Yet you can probably notice her anxious demeanor... or the way her tail curls around you....
It's like she needs to keep you close... but not admit to it....
If you called her out... she'd probably deny it.
She'd stammer, claim she's not being clingy... then cross her arms with a pout.
She hates being honest with her feelings... it causes pain...
But dealing with them in a locked room doesn't help either.
Whenever you go into sleep mode... J runs off to her secret room.
She rambles to herself as she vents, feeling like she's going crazy the more she thinks of you.
She tries to bottle up how she feels... but it's making her come apart at the seams....
J could work as a platonic or romantic yandere.
As a platonic yandere... the bond she has with you reminds her of Tessa.
Which makes her feel complicated and remember how Tessa died...
Which makes her feel incredibly conflicted.
As a romantic yandere she doesn't do much better.
She's never felt this way before and it's incredibly distracting for her work.
She can't stop looking at you... and just wanting to hold you close... never let you go....
Either option essentially gives her a feeling she can't properly process.
Which makes her irritable and distracted... and eventually going crazy in her little room doesn't help anymore.
You're always in her head... and she yearns for contact.
I feel like it's obvious that J would murder over her obsession.
She normally tries to stay controlled... yet I can see her killing a worker drone then offering to share the oil with you or something.
When J can't hide her obsession anymore... I feel like the confrontation would be unnerving.
She calls you to meet her away from the others, claiming she needs to talk.
She's nervous, fidgeting as her tail twitches.
Once you land near her, wings flared out, J drops the act.
You realize she's covered in oil.
Dead worker drones surround her and her yellow gaze seems manic.
She corners you, admits that you've been making her systems overheat and her processors erratic.
No amount of oil she consumes makes the feeling go away....
You can see the oil dripping from her claws and mouth.
I feel like such a scene would be horrifying for a worker drones obsession... but as a murder drone, you still find it odd since J is normally so controlled....
She follows you, eyes tracking you like a predator.
She tells you she can't hold herself together anymore... It's too much....
You... You're the cause of her feelings...
You're to blame...
She can't let you go.
If you tried to run, to call her new thought process a glitch...
Her tail spits nanite acid at you, making you tumble into the snow.
It burns... even though your body can regenerate, it burns.
"Stop running... you're making it worse... just... promise me you're mine. Promise me!"
Her pleas sound like an order.
She normally wouldn't hurt you... but on the peak of desperation... she uses the acid to stun you.
You're scared of your leader, your own tail trembling.
She aimed the acid at your wings, the oil dripping off her form making her look unhinged.
Normally V is like this... not J....
She makes you tell her you won't leave her... that you'll be hers... that she's the best for you.
She's gone crazy.
You try your best to fight her off, spraying your own acid as you try to use your nanite neutralizing saliva to remove the acid eating your metal.
J squeals, yet pounces on you in the snow, hurt flickering in her manic eyes.
"Stop! You're... being insubordinate...! Stop acting like I'm crazy...!"
You two fight like feral cats in the snow... but eventually J gets frustrated enough to render you temporarily offline.
Either due to your damage or her slamming you a little too hard.
She freezes, realizing what she did.
She... didn't expect to lose control like this.
That's... That's not your oil... is it?
She lost her cool... but... maybe now you can stop driving her insane....
J would probably drag you to her secret room and lay you on the couch.
She uses her saliva, as strange as it would be to anyone not a murder drone, to nullify the burns you both have.
She restrains you, binding your limbs and tying your tail to a chair.
She also uses a set of chains to wrap around your torso to discourage your wings.
By the time you wake... you're healed.
Yet J is staring over you, eyes scanning you over as though to see if the binds would hold.
"I can't... you're all I can think about... if I can keep you here... then I'll know you're mine... and no one can take you from me...."
She means every word.
J isn't going to let you leave this room... she'll keep you locked here.
The others won't find you... The Solver won't find you...
Here... it can just be you and her...
She'll tell the others an accident happened... you died...
They never needed to know the truth about... anything.
For their own good.
You curse at her, you struggle...
She just gags your mouth and settles beside you.
Your tail pulls, yet it only knots tighter.
J pulls you close, her own tail curling around you.
The syringe tip gleams in the light, making you shudder when you look at the nanite acid within it.
J nuzzles closer, visor flickering for a moment.
She seems at peace... as though worrying for you has kept her running for too long.
"It's better this way, y'know? You can just be my prized asset... and no one has to know...."
J then hums as she cuddles you, visor flickering again until it settles on 'SLEEP MODE'.
Meanwhile you're left in a room you don't recognize... locked away with your weapons rendered useless...
All you can do is lay against a sleeping J...
As your body eventually gives into 'SLEEP MODE' itself... you wonder if what she says is true... will the others really not find you...?

It's been a long time since I've written anything for Troy and considering how he slowly begins to resent Tyreen throughout the game... I think this works for him.
I did romantic here but... I could also see him developing platonic feelings a similar way in this. Man just like... wants something for himself for once.

Troy is often pushed around by his sister Tyreen in Borderlands 3.
They were conjoined twins before their father separated them and Troy has had to leech from Tyreen ever since to live.
He's been unable to be seen as his own person.
It was always her and him.
She calls him a parasite, acts like it's a bother to keep him alive....
You can definitely see in the game this affects Troy.
He's clearly upset that his sister is hogging all the attention and that he needs her so much.
Due to Troy feeling neglected... an affectionate obsession may make Troy a more submissive yandere.
He's definitely more capable of it than Tyreen is.
I have a feeling his obsession would be a captive.
It's a yandere story and I genuinely can't see any sane person being willingly on board with the COV.
They're a bandit cult.
So I feel like Troy came across you, someone who was probably minding their own business and making a life for themselves...
Only for you to be raided and plucked from wherever you called home.
Tyreen probably noticed Troy was distracted by this one random person.
She probably felt it was fine to give him some entertainment since he's been helpful enough...
So she encourages him to just take what he wants.
After all, they're gods, right?
Gods demand tribute... and sacrifice.
You probably aren't originally affectionate because you're horrified.
You've been taken from your home by slobbering bandits and placed in front of seemingly two sirens.
Tyreen seems tempted to toy with you... yet Troy was the one who really wanted you so...
She considers you her gift to him.
Troy is passive... yet smart.
He's just as sadistic and cruel as his sister, probably initially mocking you to see you shake.
Yet it's also shown in the game that Troy is more vulnerable than Tyreen.
The wiki describes his behavior in the ECHO logs as 'a giddy dork'.
Which I'd say is accurate as the Calypso Twins do have some sibling moments together despite the carnage they cause.
So I have a feeling over time... He'd start expressing a want to be closer to his obsession.
Since I'm writing this with 'romantic' intentions first and foremost... Troy would definitely call you pet names.
Stuff like 'babe' and 'baby' for the most part... acting like you two are mutually together.
Like the God King has consort.
Your "relationship" originally starts as entertainment for him... He sees you as a toy he gets to keep for himself.
But soon he develops legitimate feelings as you're the only thing he doesn't have to share with Tyreen for once.
I feel like if you're affectionate to him... it would originally start as just a way to placate him.
You probably pick up on the fact he wants something akin to love with you.
Which makes you follow along in hopes you don't become food for Tyreen.
Troy... is initially taken aback.
He... wasn't really expecting you to break that quickly...
Is... this meant to be genuine...?
Despite his skepticism... I feel like Troy would go along with it.
He's been waiting for something like this.
"Well finally you give in, babe~! I've been wondering when you'd worship your God King...."
You start small... leaning against him, holding his hand, stuff like that.
You praise him and you play along with what he wants.
Troy probably has a thing for PDA to show the COV followers that he's chosen someone.
They should cheer that you're the one he picked, yeah?
If they don't... Tyreen has more snacks.
Troy is initially cruel and smug, acting like you giving him affection was what you were meant to do all along...
Yet eventually he pleads that you mean it... that you actually like him....
In private he actually shows restraint the more he likes you... like he's desperately trying to live the lie that you like him.
He leans into every touch, drinks in every bit of praise...
He actually leans a little into pathetic yandere territory when alone with you... but never fully since he's still actually scary as a yandere.
He's desperate to have someone to call his own.
He's been getting rather annoyed at having to listen to Tyreen complain about not having anyone because she drains them all.
Whenever she brings that up... He always feels like she wants something...
Which makes him hold onto you tighter.
Troy shares a lot with Tyreen...
But this time? He doesn't want to share.
Troy definitely holds you close as he sleeps, like a death grip.
He's mostly a possessive yandere... but I think when it comes to Tyreen he'd be protective.
He wouldn't want to give you up to his sister.
When you start being affectionate, showing obedience...
He worries Tyreen is going to want that.
It makes him isolate you a bit... always hiding you from Tyreen.
He probably melts into kisses and hugs... tensing for a moment before leaning into it.
Troy is definitely going to kill over you too.
Even more so when he steals Maya's powers.
He doesn't want others to touch you.
So Tyreen often witnesses him slaughtering a bandit for coming too close to you.
It amuses her... but he needs to lay off a little.
Sometimes Troy asks you if you actually love him.
He sits you down with him in private, seemingly insecure.
He wants to know if you actually enjoy his presence... if you know he's protecting you because he wants something between you.
Your answer, truthfully, doesn't matter.
Troy will find a way to get 'yes' from you.
He can't comprehend that your affection isn't genuine in some way.
That or he doesn't want to know it.
Even if it wasn't genuine... even if you were faking it...
He'll make you mean it.
Just because he's soft with you doesn't mean he isn't unhinged.
If he has to isolate you in a room where the only person you can see is him... He'll do it.
He'll make you love him... make you mean every little kiss and touch.
Sure, he has the COV... but they've always liked Tyreen more.
You're his... Your love is his worship.
So you better mean it when you kiss him, when you say you love him, when you worship his existence...
He CHOSE you... and he isn't giving you up for anything or ANYONE... Not when he finally feels he has someone to call HIS.

When you were younger... you were meant to be a good influence on Rin.
From a young age Rin was rather... disliked.
People were scared of him for his strength, often calling him a devil.
Later on as a teen he ended up being a bit of a delinquent... often unable to keep a job and scaring people off.
You, as his childhood friend, were probably the only person that didn't run from him or get scared.
Rin's father would often joke to Rin that he has a girlfriend due to how often you two are around each other.
Keep in mind that you were just young children or teens then... it was just teasing...
But it often made Rin flustered anyways, lashing out at his dad while Yukio laughed.
Rin was never aware of his origins as a devil until he enrolled in Blue Cross Academy.
You always told him he wasn't a devil, that he's just different or to not care what others think.
As a kid... you were so innocent when it came to your dear best friend.
Rin probably did begin to develop a crush on you, even at a young age.
You were the only girl who seemed to like him at the time anyways.
You even hung out as teens, you often asking if you can come over for dinner since Rin's cooking is amazing.
You're around so often that Rin's already remembered what your favorite food is and makes it every time.
Probably just for you too, your friend often guarding the container with his life as he barks it's for you.
Cue more teasing.
Things are nice... you and Rin always got along and you even tried to comfort him whenever he couldn't keep a job.
Things changed when his father died.
I imagine after this event... you don't see Rin for months... maybe close to a year.
This is because he's immediately enrolled into Blue Cross Academy with his brother... and we all know how that went.
You just suspect Rin moved away to deal with the loss... that or maybe he really did just go to school somewhere else.
You don't really blame him for not saying goodbye... losing your father is a traumatic experience.
Let alone to blue flames.
Rin never stops thinking about you.
As he lays in his dorm he often worries about you, wondering if you missed him, if you're mad at him....
When Rin learns he's a devil spawn... He probably does worry he won't be able to see you ever again.
If he can't control his flames... if you see his more demonic features...
Will you be scared of him!?
Yukio often has to deal with Rin's nervous tail thumping in their dorm, his brother clearly anxious.
Rin's feelings towards you never diminish... but he is worried you won't like being around him.
I feel like while you don't go to Blue Cross Academy... Rin would still try to visit you.
Exorcists can still leave the academy, usually for missions.
So maybe Rin eventually gets the confidence to go and visit you again.
Yukio warns him to be careful since he's a huge target as devil spawn.
Rin just nods as he leaves, a nervous smile on his face as his tail twitches erratically.
Rin goes to the home you always lived at and knocks on the door.
When you answer he has to hide the flush on his cheeks.
You look... so beautiful now.
Well, you were before... but still....
Rin probably worked hard to cook you your favorite meal back at the dorm, your old friend anxiously greeting you as he holds it out.
"Hey... long time no see, right...? Made you this... wanna hang out...?"
Of course you say yes....
Rin probably visits you multiple times over the course of a few days/weeks.
He hides his feelings and his demonic traits...
But eventually you probably learn of them.
Maybe it was an accident... or maybe Rin felt it right to confess his features to you...
Either way he shows you his tail, a long spindly black furred tail that keeps twitching when he's nervous....
You see that his ears are slightly pointed, his teeth are sharp, his eyes are like a cat's...
Rin fully expects fear.
He expects you to hate him, to call him a monster...
... instead you smile.
You smile... one that melts his heart and makes his tail thump...
Then you call him cute.
He... doesn't bother hiding the blush on his face.
He stammers, tail wagging, then accuses you of flustering him on purpose.
He's relieved when you reassure him you aren't scared.
It even makes his crush feel even more intense towards you.
Every time he visits and cooks you food... you coo over his features.
You call him a 'cat', a nickname he initially finds annoying but grows to enjoy.
He flusters when you play with his tail... but never pulls away.
He's clingy, hugging you close while he murmurs about how much he misses you.
Even when you aren't hanging out... Rin sneaks out to follow you around, always trying to plan ways for you both to see one another again.
You're his weakness, one of the people he can't seem to keep away from...
Which soon puts you in danger.
I feel like other demons will realize that Rin is attached to you.
Which makes you a target.
So maybe you end up getting dragged into a battle by one... which sets off Rin.
Amaimon comes to mind for me as he's one of the first enemies we see set off Rin into a feral state... but could be any of the princes honestly.
So maybe Rin hears that you were captured... and immediately rushes off to find you.
It's technically his fault, part of him knows that...
He should've just stayed away... but he loves you too much.
I feel like you'd get feral Rin if his sword was forcefully unsheathed and damaged.
The excess power has been shown to set Rin off, making him act more like an animal.
Rin doesn't think about how much this could scare you...
He's more focused on getting you back.
Initially you thought Rin's demonic features were cute.
But now, as you're struggling in another demon's arms...
You just see Rin come at them full force, engulfed in blue flames and eyes shrunk to pin pricks.
The sight... to see him give into his more animalistic feral side...
That scares you.
He's not talking... He's snarling, roaring.
Eventually when the other demon does let you go... Rin's gaze snaps to you.
Your blood runs cold.
Was... this really your childhood friend...?
Imagine if Rin abandons his fight to go for you.
His friends try to stop him, but he pushes through them to pull you into his arms.
His grip is crushing... blue fire surrounds you both...
Yet it doesn't seem to hurt you...?
Rin's... purring too.
He's not aggressive when he pins you to the ground against him, more defensive.
His tail is lashing, eyes slightly dilated as he watches you.
He seems to not notice or care if you're scared... He's just purring, nuzzling into you.
Yet when the other demon prince makes their presence known again... He's feral.
By the time the battle ends... Rin's friends can barely get Rin away from you.
He's curled around you... growling at anyone who gets too close...
His blue flames surge around the area like some protective shield.
Rin is probably only going to be calmed down by you.
If you can overcome your fear just enough to reassure him you're safe... Rin's feral behavior calms.
Which is kind of like how it went in the show where one of his friends hugged him and reassured him he's going to be okay.
Rin pauses, staring down at you as he slowly realizes what happened.
He then hugs you tighter, apologizing profusely, terrified you'll hate him.
You're scared of him... you don't fully find him cute anymore...
Yet the beast within Rin... He knows he can't let you go.
Even after this moment, Rin remains possessive.
He stalks you, unable to ignore the desire to make you belong to him.
Rin's no longer your childhood friend... He's a beast that knows what he wants.
If Rin's sword was ever fully damaged and not forced to be unsheathed...
The feral behavior doesn't go away now that I remember how they handled that in Season 1 (Memory might be wrong).
If Rin was still feral... He may drag you off somewhere.
You plead with him, try to tell him to let you go...
He just keeps running with you in his arms.
He'd hide you somewhere, his flames the only thing giving you warmth... at least they aren't searing you.
He cuddles close to you, trying to purr and nuzzles into your neck.
I can see him biting you too to mark you, growling deeply as he laps at the wound.

Originally your interactions with Vi are rather casual.
You work under Caitlyn and already view her as a close friend.
Naturally you'll probably just Vi as your friend's girlfriend.
Sure, it isn't official yet, but you can tell.
You aren't blind.
Caitlyn probably wants you to get along with Vi anyways as Vi... has a tendency to get herself hurt.
So yeah... You'd probably make friends with Vi due to the amount of times you have to patch her up.
Vi probably jokes that Caitlyn sent you to baby her... yet deep down she appreciates the help.
That's the background between you... you're friends turned teammates.
Vi is a protector at heart that canonically is scared of losing those close to her.
This makes her a yandere that would be intense even if she was just platonic.
She considers you close to her as you've probably saved her and Caitlyn a few times.
She's mostly tame, no sign of any red flags.
She may be from the undercity... but she's still your friend, right?
Yeah... things change when Vi loses the two people closest to her heart.
After a failed attempt to capture and kill Jinx... Jinx disappears and Caitlyn breaks up with Vi.
Caitlyn, who was also your friend, has changed for the worst.
Revenge has sent her on the warpath and you quickly realize there's probably nothing you could've done to change that.
The fact that Caitlyn and Jinx are now gone from Vi's life... she realizes she has no one.
Well... no one but you...
Which makes you realize even Vi has changed for the worst.
Vi is at her worst where this fic takes place.
This would be the point where Vi goes off to do fights in the lanes of the undercity for months at a time.
You probably come down to the place occasionally while undercover, worried for your friend.
You feel bad, y'know?
You know that Jinx was her sister despite all that's happened.
That and Caitlyn meant a lot to the both of you... you didn't want your friend to be on the warpath either but here you are.
Vi... would be very intense at this point in time.
When she sees you undercover... she can't believe her eyes.
She thought once Caitlyn cut contact you'd do the same.
No... instead you sneak in after fights to offer Vi medical aid.
She questions you and probably even tries to intimidate you to leave...
You don't.
Vi doesn't want you hurt... she's probably also scared to rely on you due to how easily she loses people in her life.
But the more you come to her to clean her wounds and act supportive...
She probably can't ignore her wish for contact with anyone anymore.
I feel like Vi at this point would be more controlling than usual.
A lot of it is due to her mental health... She's often fighting in order to forget her hardships.
It's how she copes.
Then she gets worried about your safety or the idea you're pulling away from her.
You being undercover worries her... if you don't act like you're from Zaun... the people here will know.
You'd probably argue with one another more often.
She wants you close and when you call out her behavior as controlling... She denies it.
She calls it "looking out for you".
In reality I can see Vi at this point isolating you... maybe to get back at Caitlyn and also reassure herself she isn't alone.
She tells you if you're going to stick around so often to pity her... you might as well just stay.
In fact, I can see her manipulating you into staying in Zaun with her for the months she fights.
She'd convince you... or coerce you... into staying with her.
She tells you she doesn't want you running off to Caitlyn.
At this point, considering her cupcake's latest behavior, Vi doesn't think Caitlyn deserves you.
Vi argues she needs you more.
After all, you've seen her after fights, right?
She could die without you.
Vi probably knows she's being unfair... that she's using you to make herself feel better...
You deserve a much better friend...
But Vi can't bring herself to lose another person close to her.
Vi's more violent nowadays... not towards you though.
She views many around her as a potential threat to you.
Zaun doesn't take nicely to enforcers.
If Vi felt someone was looking at you wrong... She's straight up attacking them.
She'd probably smash them into a wall, accusing them of staring...
You usually have to pry her off people and get her to sit down.
Vi... is losing herself.
You can tell.
You're stuck in this weird position... unable to leave Zaun due to Vi's behavior even if you want to.
You want to help... but you also want to go home....
Vi's probably also a little clingy, often pulling you in for a hug.
She rants to you, always admitting she just wants you safe.
She is scared to let you out of her sight... if she does... what if she loses you like Jinx or Vander...?
What if Caitlyn convinces you to never see her again...?
Vi... can't let that happen.
Whenever you try to leave Zaun now... Vi hunts you down, asking where you're going without her.
She's like having a scary dog with you.
She's volatile nowadays and you often see her fists covered in blood.
Vi always claims the people she "encounters" had it coming.
She's a little paranoid too... often worried anyone could just take you.
She's definitely the most unhinged around this time in the show.
That is until Jinx shows up to convince Vi to help her find their dad (Warwick).
Vi probably gets a little calmer once she realizes her family is still alive... for now.
She even gets better when Caitlyn and her get back together.
Yet even though she gets better... the damage is done.
Vi becomes dependent on you as her friend and never lets you go too far.
You're in it for the long haul now.
Vi probably even keeps you with her and Caitlyn at the end of the series since her mental health tanks again when she loses her family... again.
Vi is a character who canonically fights because she's scared to lose those she cares about.
When you become all she has left, even if it's just for a few months...
She isn't going to let you go, not when you're the only light in her growing darkness that she can see.

Honestly... I do love this idea because it emphasizes how much control Cyn would have over her obsession.
Be you human, worker drone, or disassembly drone... She would have a ton of control over you due to the Absolute Solver.
Although I do think she'd have the most control over a disassembly drone obsession.
The reason Cyn made the disassembly drones was to help her eradicate the Earth.
After that she needed a way to make them willing to attack other drones... so she brainwashed them and wiped their memories.
Convincing worker drones to kill other worker drones may not be too successful for all disassembly drones....
I can definitely see Cyn making a disassembly drone out of her favorite worker drone... then continuously brainwashing them if they get smart.
The Absolute Solver allows Cyn to essentially treat infected drones like a hivemind iirc....
This is assuming Cyn is closely linked to the Solver with how I write her.
Originally you and Cyn were friends in the Elliott Manor, just two drones trying to assist your human masters.
You cared for Cyn back then as a fellow drone.
I imagine you probably viewed her as a sister similar to how she called N a brother.
If SHE saw you as a sibling... that's up to you.
I say this because... unfortunately... how you feel about her may not matter.
You're unaware of her obsession... until it's too late.
She knows you're horrified when the massacre at the manor happens.
She knows you liked the company of Tessa sometimes and are horrified with the amount of blood around the place and on Cyn.
When you try to run... Cyn cuts you off.
The truth comes out... she's a zombie drone... and she has big plans for her obsession.
"Why do you run...? Are we not friends...? There's no need to be scared... You've always been useful."
I feel like the scariest part of Cyn's obsession with a disassembly drone is the lack of autonomy you have.
Who you were before Cyn altered you doesn't seem to matter anymore... your feelings don't seem to matter either.
To Cyn... you are a pet... one controlled by the Absolute Solver to do the bidding of some eldritch beast.
Cyn changes who you are to her design.
You two were once close friends... but once you are given your modifications...
You aren't quite yourself.
You never asked to become a disassembly drone.
In fact, you feel betrayed by Cyn for making you into such a thing.
But oh... Cyn can't have that.
I feel like an obsessed Cyn would not only make you a killing machine... but try to alter the feelings you have towards her.
Before she turned you... you hated her.
So she tries to get you to like her again by inserting memories.
She may even make you try to like her in the way she likes you.
Be that as a sibling she adores... or maybe she wants to try the romance humans often talk about... you become what she wants to me.
Think about how scary it is to essentially be... living a lie.
All because some eldritch code possessed someone you thought you could call a friend.
You'd be her favorite murder drone as her obsession... even if she'd have to keep wiping your memories.
You only need to remember a couple things... Cyn/The Solver is the only one that matters to you... and you should be loyal to whatever mission you're given.
The one thing that I think of when I look at this idea is just... you being in a loop of remembering then being wiped again.
You believe the lies, it's all you know...
You are meant to kill... that is all.
But you keep getting echoes.
You keep remembering Cyn and having a certain fondness towards the other drone in the manor... of being cared for by Tessa even if it was a little condescending...
Then you remember screams... you remember seeing blood... you...
You remember Cyn grinning in the middle of it, her yellow eyes staring you down.
You vaguely remember the promise she makes to you... that she did what she did to make your shared lives better...
That she's the only one who will ever truly care for you.
These memories... they make your head feel fuzzy...
Yet you're always told it's just some glitch... Some weird dream....
I can imagine that Cyn would pick up on you regaining your old self... which leads to her having to suppress it again.
It's implied Cyn wiped the memories of not just N but also J and V... but to different degrees. (I'm guessing...? The fandom seems mixed on this.)
I feel like she'd have to frequently wipe you though as you keep going against the role she gave you.
Cyn would probably brainwash her obsession to love her in whatever way she wants.
She's incredibly perceptive when it comes to you... often noticing when you hesitate or think a little too hard.
"What's on your mind...? You seem... hesitant...."
You're often frightened or defiant once you gain your memories back.
While when your memories were wiped you reciprocated her affection... her hugs and playful touches...
Now you flinch away, as though thinking back to the night she changed everything.
You never used to have sharp teeth... yellow eyes... claws... bladed wings and a tail designed to melt metal...
You recall when you were just a worker drone, one meant to serve... when you were harmless and felt you made a friend....
Yet when the images of the massacre and the blood come back... of you running from the biomechanical beast your friend became...
Cyn quickly comes into your vision.
"Oh no... You're thinking too hard. Now, don't be silly, we've been over this many times before~ We just need to... try again!"
After that it's a blur....
For a brief second... you recall Cyn strapping you down and a symbol flickering in her eyes...
After that you wake next to Cyn, unsure what happened.
Cyn is quick to stop you from undoing the process.
"I repaired you... You were damaged... Aren't you lucky to have someone like me...?"
Cyn is puppeteering everything you do, especially when you're assigned to kill humans.
When you become lucid, she wipes everything except for her.
She makes you remember her as someone good, someone you should love.
You don't even get any respite when sent to Copper-9... because you go with her.
Similar to how she takes J with her when she's Tessa.
Cyn uses Tessa's form to keep your trust since she knows you liked Tessa...
But when Cyn reveals herself... It's no doubt going to trigger memories again.
Oh well... nothing Cyn can't fix.
She can't have her favorite drone rebel, can she?
This is probably one of the worst yandere experiences because the second you become lucid from the fantasy she's fabricated around you... you're barely able to run before Cyn wrangles you back.
You may be a killing machine now... one who has probably done things just as bad as her by this point...
But you are still helpless before her.
Cyn hopes eventually she can stop having to wipe your mind every few weeks... but at this point it's a game to her.
She's a bit of a sadist... so she maye have fun with you while you're lucid.
You keep looking too deep into your memory bank... why can't you just accept you're meant to be hers?
She's probably let you think you could run or fight her... only to put you in your place with oil splattering on the ground.
She doesn't care if she breaks you... she can always put you back together.
She laments about this... saying things could be "so perfect" if you stopped remembering.
Then she wouldn't have to hurt you... to scrap you to try and rework everything again.
Despite your attempt to fight or run... your oil is always on her hands as you lay on the floor stunned...
Then you wake up... rebuilt anew and with no memory of... anything... except your companion.
Cyn will keep trying, over and over, to get you to stay hers.
She'll wipe you, deconstruct you, anything to make you perfect...
If you keep remembering...
She'll try again after chasing you like an animal for her own enjoyment... you won't remember that for a while anyways, right?

Sure! I made this platonic as I felt the dynamic would work better? Like Yukine seeing you as a sibling felt better to me due to his age I guess and Yato being a protective mentor.
Watched a summary of the manga to help me here. Not all of it... but about half of it (Three hour video). Using the term Regalia here for the request even though manga uses Shinki... I prefer Shinki but it doesn't matter. Just know that they are the same term.

Fun Fact: I recently learned Noragami inspired JJK :D! This makes sense to me due to how spirits and Ayakashi work, they're so similar to Curses.

I personally feel like these two would make great 'found family' yanderes.
I say this because of the nature of shinki/regalia.
These lost spirits are the souls of people who still wanted to live but died too soon essentially.
I believe the age of the soul doesn't matter... just if that soul still has/had the will to live.
In the series Yato tends to treat Yukine like a father would a son... at least they talk about it that way.
Yato often has to correct Yukine based on how Yukine feels... as if Yukine misbehaves, Yato gets hurt.
Yet after getting Yukine to behave more... Yukine is shown to deeply care about Yato as the god took him in.
They're a good duo in the series too, often helping one another survive in the world.
I feel like these two make great platonic yandere when sharing... especially since in canon they are overprotective of Hiyori.
So such behavior would no doubt show up towards another soul Yato took in.
It's not uncommon for gods in this universe to take on several regalia as their own.
Bishamonten is a good case of it... growing a family by saving every lost soul she sees.
The issue is multiple regalia can make their master sick if they aren't all taken care of.
Even Yato has had multiple regalia in the past... just not usually at the same time.
Yet in this case... Yato ends up taking in a soul he can't bear to let go.
In terms of how you meet... It could be something as simple as a chance encounter where Yato sees you have nowhere to go and feels like he has to take you in.
This could happen after he gets Yukine... maybe Yukine actually encouraged Yato to take you in.
After all... if he doesn't... you could become an Ayakashi.
This could be a way Yato takes you in.
Another way could be you were a human that could see Yato, maybe someone tuned to the supernatural like Hiyori.
Yato gets attached as maybe you were one of his only followers before Hiyori or at the very least a friend.
Yet eventually you have an experience that kills you prematurely... which leads to Yato feeling like he has no other choice but to think on the fly.
So, not wanting to lose you... He makes you his regalia.
This keeps you bound to him....
This could happen before or after Yato gets Yukine I suppose, but it fits more naturally if this was before Yukine.
That way it doesn't really affect the actual canon of the story too much... as you might've not been a weapon regalia.
So Yukine can still be a sword... and maybe you're something like a shield, armor, or just a trinket.
Your regalia form isn't really focused on in this.
This will be the scenario I focus on as I have more ideas for this origin.
Either way, your first few encounters with Yato have always been with the thought of protecting you.
Especially if you both already had a past with one another.
Yukine probably became close to you as you could've offered him insight on being a Regalia and their purpose if you were with Yato first.
Since you're most likely older than the younger regalia... you may try to act like an older sibling to him.
You'd want to help him if he was stinging Yato so I can see you helping Hiyori with Yukine's ritual too.
Eventually Yukine begins to look to you for guidance along with Yato.
You and the god seem to have been close... and you seem to sympathize with Yukine.
This leads to Yukine getting protective of his fellow regalia.
According to actions in the series... Yukine gets insecure when Yato uses other regalia.
Yukine will probably still be Yato's lead regalia in this... but I don't think he'd get too insecure about you.
Yukine would probably look up to you and would feel more protective if you weren't a weapon.
Then he'd feel like he needs to protect both you and Yato.
Yukine is a loyal character... yet also impulsive.
So I feel like Yukine is more likely to act out if he felt you were threatened.
Then there's Yato... who is surprisingly more overbearing despite being your master.
Yato has been shown to get clingy towards those he cares about.
He's been shown to get smothering with Hiyori when she becomes an official 'follower' of him.
To the point he can get really annoying.
So if he got attached to you and made you his regalia...
I can see the god coddling you... probably because his obsession started from nearly losing you.
Now he knows he's got to look after you, no matter what, as his regalia~!
A happy regalia keeps him in good health... Plus, Yukine seems happy around you too...
Which makes Yato feel good as regalia feelings are shared with their master.
Considering Yato feels gods are unable to do wrong... He'd probably not view how he treats you as wrong.
Then there's the fact Yukine is also obsessed... so it's not like the other regalia is going to try and correct his master.
You make them both happy... even if they suffocate you.
Both of them are incredibly loyal people that are protective of the ones they care about.
Also, since you're a regalia, I imagine they both end up isolating you.
It probably wouldn't even be intentional at first... it would just be how things are.
You're naturally bound to Yato so it's not like you can run from your old companion.
Yukine is also incredibly loyal to Yato... so if you were having second thoughts or doubts they'd both try to convince you otherwise.
You couldn't hide any lies from them either.
If you were feeling upset... Yato can feel that.
As a regalia you wouldn't be able to hide anything.
Yato would feel at least one of his regalia is upset... and Yukine might notice too if Yato mentions it.
Cue them rushing over to you to see if you're okay... once again being smothering and not exactly helping.
They'd isolate you from other regalia or gods.
Yato probably sees you as a friend he had outside of Sakura... and is worried he'll lose you like her.
Which would make them BOTH protective of you when it comes to the Father/The Stray plotline.
Yato would be terrified Father will remind you of how you died through giving you your memories and real name.
Yukine can sense Yato's fear... the idea of you becoming an Ayakashi...
It makes Yukine nearly lash out.
So... you end up hidden by the two.
Yato often likes to keep you in your object form to hide you, only letting you into your human form when it's just him and Yukine.
With Hiyori... Yato could just distance himself and she wouldn't be hurt.
He... can't exactly distance himself from you.
You're bound to him... quite literally marked.
If Yato and Yukine don't keep an eye on you...
They could lose you.
I do think these two would get violent over you.
Yato swore off killing for the most part as a past war god...
However... if both him and Yukine felt someone was going to take you away from them...
I can see them working together to nearly/outright kill someone.
Yukine doesn't like ending the lives of those that aren't Ayakashi... yet if it was between that and helping Yato protect you...
There's a good chance blood would spill.
The pairing here is dubious because while these two would be smothering and overprotective...
You probably do like them for the most part.
These two are family to you... and truthfully... you probably wouldn't be here without them.
Yato gave you another chance at life... both him and Yukine clearly care for you more than anyone else ever has.
Deep down you probably know this obsessive companionship isn't exactly normal...
But they make it your normal.
Overall these two would be two yanderes that definitely work together to keep their obsession.
Even as a regalia... the world is dangerous and wants to feed off the good in you...
Yato and Yukine don't plan to let anyone take you or your kind spirit away... be them Ayakashi, human, regalia or god...
Blood will spill before anything like that happens.

Alright, I'm mixed on how I'd want Shanks to look as a merman.
Well... of course he's going to look mostly the same as his normal counterpart... but the tail color is what gets me.
I think for this fic I will go a shimmering crimson red to match his hair.
Now for the plot... I feel like I can go a classic route that I've seen in this type of fic.
Shanks loses his arm in canon to a Sea King while saving Luffy.
So maybe he loses his arm to a similar situation.
The blood loss ends up affecting him too much to swim properly and it just attracts more predators...
Which ends up with Shanks, this large merman, to be washed up ashore or float weakly in the water.
Then there's you... maybe you're a marine biologist or something and work on a boat to take care of or study animals.
You end up seeing something strange... and think it's maybe a person in trouble.
So you get the boat close enough and have someone help you pull him on board.
Except this isn't a human...
The large shimmering tail gives everything away.
You take Shanks in, not only is his existence an excellent chance to get research...
But he's clearly missing an arm.
Assuming either you have medical knowledge or you have someone on the boat for emergencies that knows it... Shanks gets patched up.
The research vessel you work on is large and contains a large tank to put recovering animals or just animals you're researching.
You roll the merman into there eventually for him to recover.
Shanks... doesn't fully understand what's going on.
One moment he was fighting something off to protect a pup...
Now he's in a cage and his arm is gone...?
Then he sees you.
In and out of consciousness he had seen you look so concerned for him.
He knows what you are... a human.
If he wasn't injured then he could easily hunt humans.
In fact, he's used to having humans hunt his kind.
Yet here... you're not taking advantage of him or trying to kill him....
You're actually mending his lost arm... He can feel the waterproof covering over him.
The tank... it's cramped... it isn't like the ocean but it's enough.
Frequently Shanks sees you enter the room to check on him.
You feed him fish and cautiously get close to change the bandage.
I imagine there's probably a language barrier... yet since Shanks has been around humans for a while in passing, he probably knows some of your language.
Sometimes he glares at you if he thinks you're too close... but over time he changes his glances to look more like he's observing you or something.
Kind humans are rare to come by....
You see his scars... evidence of him being reckless.
When he loses his fear of you, he's more playful.
He splashes you with a wink and probably attempts to understand your talks to him despite his limited language.
He grows used to your presence as he's probably on your ship for a week or two.
Once you feel you can release him... you do.
Initially Shanks is relieved to be out in the ocean again.
Yet he keeps glancing back at your boat, seemingly reluctant.
He should head out... and he does...
But your presence sticks with him.
After your first encounter I can see Shanks trying to find ways to see you again.
He doesn't understand why a human has caught his attention... or his heart... so much.
This leads to Shanks following your boat.
As you research the ocean, Shanks researches you.

At first you're baffled and nervous that the merman you saved wants to see you again.

Shanks is typically a friendly person to those he likes around him from what I've seen in canon.
Since he likes you... he visits often.
There's times he just... throws himself on deck to see you properly.
This merman's existence surprises you... He's just like you, a human...
It's just the biology is different.
He's capable of human speech and slowly begins to understand you more and more.
He may even become a friend to you.
Shanks on the other hand... is determined to make your bond more than that.
He's playful in nature, sure... but that soon turns into a different kind of playful.
You swear he just throws himself on board to see you struggle to shove him back in the water.

For the same reason he probably nearly topples you over.

But it mostly leaves you on your back as the merman lays on top of you with a smug smirk.
Then... the actual courting begins.
Shanks sees you patching him up as the ultimate act of kindness.
It makes him realize such devotion... is a good trait in a mate.

Shanks gifts you things he finds in the sea.
Usually shells as he thinks their beauty would look wonderful on you.
Other times I can see him catching animals for you and presenting them as gifts.
He sees you researching things all the time...
Doesn't this show he's capable of helping and providing?
If you gift him things in return, like small trinkets, it only cements his ideas more.
Which makes his obsession develop faster.
At some point I can see Shanks getting bolder.

Not only that... He's territorial too.

If he sees another human too close to you... He keeps trying to 'remove their scent'.
Which usually means you have to keep pushing him away in case he tries to mouth at your skin or bite you.
Yes... biting... He has sharp teeth and will probably try to mark you.

Sure, normally he will try to be understanding, to have good morals when dealing with humans or others of his kind...
Yet when he's this deep into obsession... when he's so focused on pinning you to try and court you...
He definitely starts growling if someone catches him and tries to pull him off you.
I feel like if that did happen one night... He would probably attack them.
He draws blood despite how hard it is to properly move on land with one arm.
Then he'd rush over to you... and ram you into the water.
You squirm, you panic... but now that he's finally in his domain?
Handling you isn't as difficult down here than it is on land.
This would be when Shanks drags you off... He's had enough of waiting....

I feel like Gambit tries to be mindful of how overwhelming he can be. He's already had to do that with how strong his powers are. I assume if he realized he was falling for you a little too hard... He'd probably attempt to dial it back.
Not only is Gambit a flirt... but I feel like he has various love languages. He probably enjoys touch even though he needs to be careful he doesn't get too excited around you. Giving gifts seems like another one for him, I think he loves to spoil his obsession. Words of affirmation? Yeah... Gambit would be constantly giving you compliments to show you how much you matter to him.
Gambit thinks the constant attention shows he's interested... yet can understand you might be getting overwhelmed. Gambit will be mindful of what his obsession thinks though. He could give you the world... but he wants to make sure you'd actually accept it.
He plays the long game with his obsession to see what you're comfortable with. Then he'll ease more into his obsessive tendencies. He's a man used to masking his secrets to get what he wants... Gambit is incredibly dedicated to his obsession. He usually focuses on talking his way out of situations though. If someone tried to confront him about his behavior around you... He'll brush it off like he doesn't know what they're talking about. What's so bad about loving you and protecting you so intensely?
It really shouldn't be anyone else's business... and if they press him on his behavior, he'll kindly... redirect them with his staff. I don't think Gambit would immediately jump to murder... but he may try to threaten someone from getting too close to what he's trying to develop between you.
Gambit's powers are quite of murder though... so he just has restraint.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
I feel like he would never mock the one he loves. If he "abducted" you... He wouldn't frame it as such a thing. He'd tell you he's taking you somewhere to look out for you and protect you during this whole 'Timeline Entanglement' situation. In reality... He just likes having you rely on him.
Even in isolation with him... Gambit treats you like you're together. He acts like a good boyfriend or husband, tending to your every need. Even if he essentially isolates you from everyone else... He distracts you by acting like it's normal.
He gives you massages, feeds you your favorite meal, and spoils you. He treats you like any good partner would, cuddling you close as he murmurs about how much you mean to him.
You won't even realize he's technically kidnapped you until you learn he won't let anyone see you and disturb the 'peace' he made with you.

Gambit tries not to... he mostly tries to do what you want as he knows that you'll be his if he actually has you care about him as he does you. Yet... I think he can definitely still be assertive/controlling at times if he feels it's for your own good.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
Gambit is a man who usually hides his weaknesses behind his charming smile and words. I feel like he'd originally hide his struggles and insecurities from you. Yet over time, as he falls for you, he confides in you more. I feel eventually Gambit will probably melt in his obsession's arms and confess his fears.
Not only does it get such a thing off his chest... but it probably also soothes him to know that you may not leave him after seeing how much he trusts you.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Disappointed and upset. There isn't really any anger... just Gambit realizing he went about loving you wrong. He'd immediately apologize and try to calm you down. Maybe you two can talk... and you can tell him how he can make this better...
He just... can't lose you....
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Not really a game to him... but sometimes he'd act like he is. Like a game of courtship. He doesn't enjoy you trying to escape though....
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
There isn't many since Gambit is so good at hiding his darker behavior. You can barely tell he's yandere at times. Yet at the top of my head... I can think of maybe two things.
There's you finally realizing he's been isolating you... which can be devastating since Gambit has been nothing but perfect to you. So... why would he be trying to isolate you from those you know?
Then there's the more graphic idea... when you see him lose his control and finally snap to hurt someone. Could be roughing them up a bit... or him losing control and somehow blowing someone up.
Either way, the worst experience would be him shattering your trust somehow. You'd see he isn't the perfect man you thought he was...
Which leads to Gambit frantically trying to pick up the pieces... probably by chasing after you.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
Considering his whole plotline in Rivals... probably marriage. He wants to settle with his obsession, to provide for and tend to everything they need.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
If Gambit gets jealous... He hides it like everything else. He'll bottle it quietly and vent it through giving you affection. So if you feel Gambit getting more clingy and giving you rough kisses... that's probably a sign. Maybe even some PDA to show others he got you first.
Better than immediately jumping to murder...right?
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Affectionate, spoils you, flirty, playful, charming, sometimes clingy, submissive/switch, yet deep down insecure and nervous he'll lose you. He acts like a caring partner and constantly tries to get you to focus on him and his love. The issue is his love is so distracting... you won't notice he got rid of everyone else to have you.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
He probably met you around the events of Rivals. That could be him originally intending to marry you in an AU for Season 5... or a version of Gambit coming across you and falling for you as he fights alongside you.
He's flirty and charming whole time, eventually becoming overprotective and slightly possessive of you. Who knows, maybe you saved him from the Collector in Season 6 and he found himself curious about you.
Too curious... Now he's madly in love and can't let go.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Gambit is a man who knows how to manipulate others and use deception. He was raised by thieves after all. Him putting on masks around others in an attempt to make you his does seem like something he'd do.
Yet I also imagine he'd want to be honest with you eventually. His love may be true... but he hides his true obsessive desires underneath it
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
I can't see Gambit punishing his obsession. You'd probably argue but he can't bring himself to punish or neglect you. He'd probably force you to sit down and talk it out with him. It's oddly normal and healthy... but you know this relationship is still unhealthy even if he tries to justify his actions.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
None hopefully. He doesn't want his obsession to be a prisoner. Although... At times it does make you wonder if he means that.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
Very patient. He'll wait as long as he needs to to make sure he's built up your trust. His feelings are genuine... He wants you to be happy... He just may not be doing the best method to obtain you and your heart.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
No. I feel like Gambit would never fully get over you. It would no doubt always affect his mood. He's never quite the same when you're gone... He may even go as far as trying to look for a variant of you to keep for himself if he can't cope with the loss.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Yes... if he even views it as abduction. If he feels it's safe enough... then yes he'd make things go back to normal between you two. As... normal as they can be, at least. He isn't leaving you.

Gambit tends to be quite the romantic... and I guess you could say his upbringing may be another reason? His fears are the most likely reason he'd be so obsessed with keeping someone though.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Gambit would immediately rush to comfort you. He doesn't like seeing you upset and wants to be the one who comforts you. Even if he was the reason for one way or another... he still cradles you against his chest and rubs your back. He gives you soft kisses while whispering apologies... He just wanted what he felt was best for you.
Of course, if you really don't wish to see him, he will give you space too.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
Gambit is tame enough that you could have a normal relationship with him and never notice his darker tendencies. He's so focused on being the one to worship you and listen to what you need... you'd be too distracted to notice anything wrong. He also seems willing to listen to you.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
This is probably another situation where proper communication and reassurance would work. Gambit is willing to listen to his obsession and overall be a mostly tame yandere. If you express how you feel... Gambit may give you space. He may never totally leave... but he will try to be more considerate of you. To him... it's not just an obsession. Perhaps there's genuine love there too.

Never. He can't bring himself to hurt you. If he ever did, he'd do anything he can to have you forgive him.

Oh yeah, Gambit is DEFINITELY a worship yandere. He's attentive to your needs first and foremost, together or not. He'd do anything to make you his.

I feel like Gambit could pine for a while. He's patient and can play the long game to get what he wants. Yet even in his patience he does yearn for the day he finally makes you his.

Never. He probably couldn't live with himself if he somehow broke you mentally. He loves you too much for that... and he's willing to make your relationship work and hide what he truly is way before anything like this. Even if it means lying more to keep you.
