A couple complaints and looking for something I can't find...
Darn, I'm being a weirdy weirdo by looking for old fanart of Distress Signal that I really don't seem to be able to find. (Ahah, one is of Arnold and the other is just of Dispatch saying "awesome job" or something. ) Maybe I should cut my losses and stop looking.
In other news I feel weird since I think I'm too old to bother liking Distress Signal anyway. Some people say that age and fandom interests don't matter.
But I disagree since I'm still think that when one is an adult they shed away their interests in pursuit of whatever traditional things are supposedly signs of success or "required" by the other adults around them. I know this isn't really true--that I can still enjoy my interests. But the old thoughts I was brought up with still bother me.
This really went off track of what I was originally saying but either way I should probably stop thinking about both things. And I didn't want to make the second thought a separate post since both are complaints.
Two nerd things that are still bothering the crap out of me:
How did Yelena get to the top of that building? I mean it was cool to see her just step off and then then base jump down to the floor that she wanted, but how did she get there in the first place? Is it that she just took an elevator to the roof?
And the pearl clutching stupidity of the people in The originals is really nagging at me even though I have stopped watching it because it's too amazingly stupid. They're just, oh no, we're helpless, these creatures that we created are being so mean to us; just fucking chop their heads off. Problem solved.
Had to stop myself from talking about how birds mate and how bees mate in a class today, it was a weird class either way
Had watched too many eyes glaze over, suffered too many interruptions while I tattered on about books and facts.

Ahahaha sometimes I forget try to avoid the Distress Signal tags because I feel like I clog it with my nonsense thoughts. Tsk.
But then I miss out on the art and um community aspect.
But I try to avoid it because I usually compare myself to others' better art and fanfic. Instead of just being inspired and such.
I guess it's about contributing art and content. Not a competition even though that's what I think since I don't think I'm "enough".
everyone probably thinks I named my OCs Apollo and Artemis in one of my recent SGA fics because of the recent moon mission but no, that's not it. actually it's just i'm a tremendous nerd and wanted to talk about Hyperborea.
