Goodnight 💜
Cozy ♡
Guess who was my favorite flower
I mean in this instance when I’m talking about a disease that affects the uterus then yes people with a uterus are going to suffer from it and people without a uterus aren’t? Yall are going to call me a TERF for believing in cervical cancer next
people born with vaginas objectively do suffer in ways that nobody else could suffer. that is a core concept of feminism. uterine/cervical/vaginal disease. pregnancy and birth as a result of rape. pregnancy and birth in themselves. misogyny & sexism starting from the moment the sex is known. fgm. menstruation & associated disorders. another pretty key concept of feminism is that those unique kinds of suffering are downplayed or ignored by others.
you know the thing straight white conservative guys do when someone mentions their privilege where they respond “I’m not privileged! My life has been hard too! I’ve suffered! Straight men have problems too! White people have hard lives too!”? That is the exact thing that you are doing if you claim that someone born female can’t possibly have some unique kind of suffering you can’t and won’t experience. Someone else suffering in a way you don’t suffer doesn’t take away from your own suffering, both can be true at once, even small children can grasp this. I’m sorry missing out on the full scope of sexism makes you dysphoric but that is entirely a problem for you to sort out by yourself, just like it’s Racist Guy’s problem to sort out that he feels like he’s missing out on social cred for his suffering because the POC are taking it all.
these people have found a way to get away with selling “pussy privilege” talking points to young lefty people. just switch pussy to afab and bingo. you cant call people discussing run of the mill sexism crazy feminazis anymore but you can paint them as a terf to dismiss their argument just as easily. how is it “trans exclusionary” to point out sexism where it happens. why is your transness predicated on how much more oppressed you are than anyone else rather than your own identity. there are plenty of normal trans people whose transness somehow doesn’t turn them into misogynistic redpill incels with she/her in bio. i promise there are, i’ve met them. you can literally just be normal and not turn into a raging antifeminist dodging all criticism with “well i’m trans so everything i have ever gone through is inherently worse which means i am inherently more knowledgeable on sexism than you dumb bitches i mean afabs.”
I took college level anatomy courses in high school, as well as actual college anatomy courses.
Lemme just point out another thing that I didn't see in the above reasons listed for why pussy privilege isn't a thing:
People who have a penis are better researched medically, this mainly applies if you're white, but in general that's just how it is.
Now, let me get a bit more specific... my courses went over diseases that could affect specifically penis bearing or vagina bearing people.
For men, it went into several good sources and names of illnesses specific to them, how bad each one was and what the fixes were...
For vaginas and uteruses... pregnancy mostly, and preventions for pregnancy, period care... maybe one mention of yeast infections but no fix or cause.
This in college... in 2023. I'm not spitting satire, this was literally it and I have been pissed off for three fucking years because of the inequality of it. Why were our cancers not mentioned? The fact we're more likely to get a UTI just from not peeing afterwards? Why was nothing actually talked about except pregnancy—the very thing that is talked about to from heaven to hell and around again?
It felt like half the population just, didn't matter. Their health, my health as a PMOS having transmasc... just didn't fucking matter.
we should mandate industrial themed nonbinary names to balance out all of the people naming themselves after trees. throw Anvil into the mix

this came to me in a vision
this in: middle-aged mans first known encounter with flirtatious remark (confused)
Bioessentialism will have people saying stuff like "all amabs are dangerous and violent, and all afabs are incapable of harm and pure" and gender essentialism will have people saying "all trans feminine people and trans women are incapable of harm and pure, and all trans masculine people and trans men are dangerous and violent"
And I keep seeing them used as reactions to each other. You get away from one and fall into the other.
"hey, before you interact, tell me what category of humans you think are inherently evil and disgusting and that we should exterminate to live all peacefully and safely? :)" <- this is how it sounds.
I am not joking when I say the death of nuance is the death of us.
#(cups hands) and also its racist as all fuck#bioessentialism is inextricable from racism#'there is an inherently violent and dangerous type of human' dovetails real neatly into 'black and brown people are dangerous savages'#to which trans poc are especially vulnerable
tags by @Fratboycipher that were too good to leave hidden
Hey lots of people see this post without the addition can y'all please reblog this version instead because it's so important to recognize the link transphobia and racism have
