what if Toby Fox reveals who the Roaring Knight is by posting a highly detailed, where’s-waldo-esque image featuring every single sprite from every single character from both Undertale and Deltarune, and tells everyone that the true identity Roaring Knight is the character who’s missing a sprite. everyone starts scrambling to find each character and document how many sprites they have in the image compared to how many sprites they have in the game(s). within 5 hours, a team of people managed to find which character had a missing sprite, but people spiral into confusion because it’s a random plot-irrelevant enemy who couldn’t possibly have any connection to the Roaring Knight at all. Within two more hours, three additional characters are in the same situation, and Toby confesses that he might have fell asleep dragging thousands of sprites onto one image and may have made a few mistakes. deltarune players are outraged. days later the image gets updated, and this time there’s only one singular character missing any sprites. it’s the Roaring Knight
