Please read this because it is EXTREMELY important me (a transgender man) and to other trans individuals.
The US Government is currently trying to pass an incredibly dangerous national law for trans youth called HR 2616.
This bill would ban all Federally funded schools from teaching about gender identity or sexual orientation, prevent teachers from using the correct pronouns and names for trans students, remove books with any trans representation in them, and even go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging trans identity AT ALL.
Any school that does not follow this will lose all federal funding. This bill would also require teachers to forcibly out trans students to their families, which would be fatal to any trans student with a transphobic Family or just hateful family in general. Trans people are already a group that already has some of the highest rates of being victim to suicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
This bill actively makes teachers put those innocent children at such a big risk. This bill has rapidly passed the house this week with support from all 209 republicans, as well as 8 democrats. But, it'sย still being voted on in the senate, which means there is still time to help stop this.
To help stop this, you can visit 5calls.org (look up 2616 in the search bar), one of the most top issues filed Oppose Attacks on LGBTQ+ Students. Once you put in your general location, it will pull-up contact information for your senator, and give you a script for calling them.
If you are a minor and/or do not feel comfortable doing this, PLEASE repost this on here, or any other platform you are on/can find! This needs to be heard and fought against.

ooo I love Pokรฉmon! Most of us do at least. I think my top three would be Cinderace, because thatโs the Pokรฉmon we chose as our starter in Pokรฉmon Sword! Then for second Iโd say Beedrill because before we got into Pokรฉmon our sister would ask what our favorite Pokรฉmon was but we couldnโt answer so we always said beedrill because itโs the only one we knew, now itโs a favorite! GUESS WHO MINISHIFTED!! ME!!! Hold on, so like smallish story time. As you can see, yesterday I was posting about how my head hurt and it was annoying, I was really tired yesterday.
When I went to bed I did nothing to try and shift, I just rolled on my side and slept with my plushies, just went to sleep and usual. The difference is that Iโve been kinda training my brain to almost always when I have a dream, to make me lucid and do the lucid dream shifting method (is that what itโs called? I donโt remember.) so I was having a pretty weird dream, even uncomfortable, but halfway through I became lucid and I spawned a door in. This was different from all the other times I did it because the other times I spawned a door in, in my other dreams, I wasnโt really lucid enough to think. I was lucid enough in this though, I kinda touched the doorframe to check if I was lucid enough and I felt it so I opened the door. I was suddenly in a bed, the room temperature was different, the blanket color was different, and I heard my s/o come in and touch my leg to try and wake me up because I think I was sleeping in and he had a drink for me. I wasnโt able to ground myself because this was the first time this had ever happened, I felt, heard, smelled, and because I was still tired because I shifted there from a dream when I opened my eyes I was back here. BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS BECAUSE I MINI SHIFTED AND YEAH SHIFTING REAL GO SHIFT!! Iโve only been trying to shift for 2-3 months! If I can basically shift in that little of time, then you can, too! No matter how long youโve been trying!!!
