Wake Up Dead Man has such an interesting and thoughtful approach to religion. I was expecting Jud as a Priest having a crisis of faith or have Blanc start to warm to religion, but although Jud gets caught up in the investigation, his faith is so consistent. Or Blanc liking Jud and thinking he's a good Priest does not undo years of religious trauma and his atheism. Feels much more real.
