Hello, I'm Rosie Hearts and this will be my intro and about me post. First and foremost, I am a high schooler and any creeps WILL BE BLOCKED! My pronouns are she/they and I prefer you to alternate between them please and thank you.

As you can see in my bio, this is mostly a ranting blog, don't like then don't interact.

Ask any questions you'd like but there's no guarantee I'll answer all of them.

I am against trump, ICE, the right wing in general, women all around the world need equal rights, women deserve autonomy, all victims are valid, and abortion is healthcare. If you disagree with where I stand please block me right now.

So my best friend, we'll call her Sweetie, has a boyfriend, he'll be Fish. So Sweetie and Fish have been dating for about 5 months now I believe (impressive considering they met in late middle school and we're now freshies) and they really like each other. I don't have anything against their relationship because it's healthy and beautiful but I need to ramble.

Just as a little background, Sweetie, myself, and all of our friends in our groupchat met at a k-8 school, this also includes Fish. Because we all grew up with each other, around 4th/5th grade we started a groupchat. Fish originally wasn't in the groupchat but because he and Sweetie are dating he was added. He doesn't talk in it very much but whenever he does, he's always being honestly rude. Mainly the two people he's rude to are myself and another friend who I'm naming Rochelle. Obviously I don't like rude guys, especially when I barely know them, so I talk to Sweetie about it in casual chats cuz yk why not? Most times it just ends up as this:

Me: He's rude to ppl

Her: But he's nice to me

That's obviously a very simplified version, but you get the gist. I get it, he's mean to almost everyone but her and it seems romantic. But your partner shouldn't do that because that's just called being a dickhead.

Another problem which is intertwined with the last problem I explained is Sweetie literally has to tell Fish to be nice to me and Rochelle. You shouldn't have to tell your boyfriend to be nice to your friends. I'll be honest, I never liked him so I have made fun of him a few times before they were dating and right after they were dating and although I don't know if he ever knew about it, I can understand if he did know and that's why he's rude to me. I did stop because Sweetie asked me to and I respect her enough to let it go and be civil with him but he's still rude to me. I don't like that. Neither does Rochelle. Most times it feels like Fish is incapable of being somewhat nice to us and I hate how Sweetie keeps defending him. They might talk about it when they call but I doubt it because it feels like his behavior hasn't changed.

I love Sweetie and I respect her but she needs to let this guy go because he's such an asshole to us. Maybe it's because he's a teenage boy and I'm a bitchy teenage girl and that's why we always clash but I really can't stand him. He irritates me when he speaks and types so I hope the right thing to do for me was to just turn off notifications from him and just ignore him but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't because he's my bsf's boyfriend but idk I feel like I need to put myself first.
