basically when we were in maybe fourth or fifth grade, my friend and i went to a fucking origami yoda booksigning and what a fucking experience. the author, tom something, would ask each kid what their name was as he signed their copy of the book. eventually, this one kid shows up, my best guess is that he was around 12-13 years old. when the author asked him his name, he said “luke.” well, normal enough, one may think, but he followed up that sentence with another one, of much greater power. “you may know me online as masterfolderluke,” he said. my 10(?) year old ears were shocked. how could this one man, nay, boy, have all this power? it’s been years since then and i still think about this.
