This is an art GIFTING game ! Do not attack people expecting revenges. You do not owe anyone revenges !

Always COMMENT on every attack you receive ! It doesnt have to be a big wall of text for as long as you thank whoever draws for you, it's the bear minimum :] (note: if an attack is malicious just report and block)

Make sure to read one's permissions ! Everyone cares about their boundaries so please respect them. If you're unsure just ask !

don’t only attack bigger artists with the expectation of getting free art from them, there are a lot of smaller artists who are way more likely to revenge you. scroll through the recently posted characters until you see one you like! check the #target-hunting channel (seriously, the target hunting channel is your best friend). if you check the pinned messages in the target hunting channel there’s a spreadsheet for advertising first-year art fighters or people with low defenses!

of course you should not expect to get a revenge from everyone, this is an art GIFTING game. no one owes you a revenge, and you shouldn’t fixate too much on defenses. but i see people complaining about getting no defenses every year so i just figured i’d share some tips for people who struggle to get their stuff out there :P
