I’ve noticed something about Clem’s jacket…
Most people say it’s a rainbow on there–er.. everyone says it’s a rainbow. To the fandom, this was TTG’s subtle way of telling us she was gay. But when I first saw her coat, it didn’t strike me as a rainbow jacket.
If TTG was using her coat to portray her as a member of the LGBTIA, it doesn’t tell me homosexual, but rather intersex.
This isn’t the intersex flag, though. It’s only very similar to the h************ flag. It’s offensive to say this instead of intersex (not to.mention it’s not an exact match), which is why I have doubts.
But if I’m right, do you know how amazing this would be for representation? An intersex girl of color who may or may not be aromantic and homosexual who’s also a complete badass and is raising a baby by herself in an apocalyptic situation? I think it’d be pretty awesome.
