Carley is/was my favorite Blood On The Clocktower player I’ve ever seen. And I watch a lot, I mean A LOT, of different botc channels. But the way that Carley could manipulate a situation or a mechanic to serving her agenda was just stunning. And how she could organize her team into winning. Idk much about the personal stuff with Adam, but I know she also said she’s done playing botc for a while because people were just trying to “beat” her rather than play with her. It’s honestly a huge problem in the BOTC streamer/yt community, like as soon as a woman gets good at social deduction, some men will take that as “I can NEVER let her fool me again so I have to always try to beat HER, even if it costs me the game”. It sucks to be cast as a villain just because you’re good at the game. Anyway, I’m devastated because not only BOTC, but she doesn’t even play board games online anymore. Just posts on her instagram every few months. Sigh. I fear I’ll never see a BOTC player like her again!
