You know, the rustbucket really is all max has left.

Like dude doesnt really have a lot of caring friends, like he has some good co workers but that's about it.

Verdona is gone, his kids dont really talk to him anymore. The families dont even meet with him that often, not even for christmas.

This rustbucket really is the only family he has. Idk if theres like actual lore behind the rustbucket, but i wonder if max got it for Carl and frank when they were kids. To go on road trips as a family, show verdona America as well since it was her first time on earth.

They tried to be a normal family, and probably did have a good time for like a week at most before Max got called on a mission again.

That one week was the most fun they'd probably had in like ever and he wants to hold on to that memory.

I do genuinely think max did try to be there for his family, unfortunately he didnt have anyone like gwen and kevin to call him on his bs like they do with ben so all the hero stuff doesnt go to his head so much.

And verdona didnt know what a normal human family was anyway, anodites dont seem to have the concept of a close knit family. She probably just assumed this was the way humans functioned, because it does seem like that's how's anodites are too.

maybe this road trip was max's way of trying to make up to frank and Carl through ben and gwen.

Gwen definitely has a binder for her wedding all planned out, I just know it.

So is this guy Max's brother or?? Because the groom calls Max uncle and Lucy is kinda ben and gwens cousin in some way i think? So how are they related to Max?

*sigh* Another day of mourning gwens awesome powers that were killed in UAF.

Is it just me or was this a little bit ooc for gwen. shes fought so many horrible villains over the summer, like I get shes scared but shes never run away screaming like this.
