incredibly sorry for the black writers and directors of the previous two seasons who thought they were building something. I am so sorry that your work was not respected and now dismissed by this new season. I am so sorry that the love and care with which you crafted the characters, especially of Louis and Claudia was so resented that the current writers' room chose to dilute all. I am so sorry that you are having to see the anti blackness in full force on a formerly black led show and everything you worked on- your vision- it was all wiped off. I am so sorry to Jacob and Delainey for having to work with those scripts.

it's not about Armand as a character, he isn't real as much as i care abt him, it's about ASSAD ZAMAN who is an actual person with a career that AMC consistently does nothing to further and actually actively underserves/ excludes from promotion while most of his castmates careers are very evidently taking off or seeing a ressurgence from iwtv press and trailers and nominations. His name was left off the fucking website!!! He wasn't nominated for his performance in S2E5 even though that episode was critically lauded!!! He's consitently left out of press and events!!! It IS racist to say it was more "strategic" to nominate his white cast member who had a fraction of his screen time. It IS racist to not mention him in articles about the show and AMCs racism DOES impact a real breathing South Asian actor who's at a critical point in his career. It IS racist to say TVL isn't Armand's season so it makes sense to sideline and neglect ASSAD. Stop telling us it isn't blatant fucking islamophobia and racism!! Stop making excuses for AMC!!

Many do not consider that the fact that lestat being able to be more outwardly feminine than Louis was able to during the new Orleans era while he abused Louis and Claudia to be a critique on how white queers are able to transgress social norms expected of their gender way more easily than queer black people are able to in our society....many such cases.......
