Do I need to go back to raw? Yes AND with gluten free clean bagels, plant based cream cheese, vegan pesto, and even occasional junk Just Egg, it isnt soooo bad to indulge. So grateful and proud to say I’ve been eating and sharing raw vegan foods since 1979 even when I fell sometimes I kept getting back up because I know the truth. Sola bought green smoothies at my Baja Cafe in like 2013 and then we somehow met up with her son Jonah in Bryant Park New York City Farmers Market and sat down for hours talking in 2014! Now after a couple years watching her badass films; documentaries in the trenches at Mexico/ US border “residential camp” she says the back of the sign said detention camp and no one could leave and she saw firsthand the extreme mistreatment of people seeking asylum; and then finding out she was just a short drive from me this week, and the smoke creating literally hazardous air levels, I went with my cosmic acquaintance Dale who I met because of his unique sidewalk greenhouse recently. Which brings me to say you just don’t always know why you’re meeting someone and why of all the people on the planet you run into those you do and why you are somehow bonded. Dale said you know right away but aren’t aware of it? We brought our picnic dinner and Sola was cooking and we talked for hours last night. (Check out my raw onion bread Sola is holding lol) I got to pick tomatoes in her garden! Dale strummed some guitar and Jonah communicates with touch and sound to say hi and was so welcome. Peach and her doggie Lucie were tolerating each other and we got some fresh air respite from the thick smoke in Portland. Our life may seem like not our own. Like that of a stranger passing in a crowd who at times glanced your way or did you imagine it. The clouds all conspire in messages as though an angel of gigantic proportions were gliding by just for you. But today in a group on zoom, meditating, my longtime beloved teacher pointed out there is our individual field, there is a larger field that may be chaotic and painful right now but there is also a larger field even than that which is unchanging and is all love which actually digests stress and gets bigger with all of us in the group”accessing” a field together. I felt it. Love digested my stress. I offer that to you now and send a virtual hug to you as I hold my field here and stay with me, it lights up points and portal for you as well. So notice where in your body you feel contact with the chair or earth and where you can locate a neutral weight sensation. It’s as simple as “oh there’s my seat” and as I do the same there’s a phenomenon because we really are all one, that is supportive. That helps the relaxed clarity grow. Raw vegan carrot-mango cake people. And this pushing-60 Raw Queen says to always embrace your inner princess. Why? For me, she is the one who shuts out the critic and takes that long walk to get back to the trees. The Raw Princess, you could say your inner selfish (in a good way) princess takes the long hot bubble bath with essential oils, lights a candle, pumices her feet, she has her dry brush, abdominal castor oil packs, her coffee enema, her face-lift acupressure. She turns off the WiFi and lights and goes to bed by 9-10pm. The Raw Princess knows the twenty-four hour clock because she raised three babies wearing them on a sling and family bed. She knows nature’s fever is burning body rubbish and encouraged that knowing danger signs. Wheatgrass juice via bulb-syringe freaks out a western medical untrained mind. Medical schools need to have nutrition and how the body is a ecological system like the planet earth and must be kept free of chemicals and so forth. The same practices which make 60% of species go extinct since 1970 are the same practices which lead to disease in human health and can be reversed not adding insult to injury with more lab produced pills or shots. I made this cake in the midst of a chaotic time in our world and this cake is my prayer and my act of power. I stand before you proudly without covering my body excessively because I want a world where everyone can sing and dance and play and laugh and cry and make art and won’t be attacked for that. This is my body and I say what goes into it. As for helping other women, The Raw Princess shares information, recipes, and gives sessions of Polarity Therapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral. I came down to relax but I am also #lettinggo. He bought me out of our van and I am #releasing my #juicer and #massagetable and #possessions. A wooden stool my son Alex made is down here and I wanted to bring it home. I gave him #armandoaguilarlb the title and he now owns the van. I can be free of any ties and responsibilities here now and I’m feeling #emotional but I know that whatever happens this is truly clearing the #past and allowing #spacetoheal and make choices in the present moment, not based on the past habits. I feel so grateful for our connection as you all know. It has been #five years since I left #rawgoddessbaja with the intention to create online income and help my kids then come back. Now the wind every day and the shaky #internet makes me wonder if this really is my #paradise. I love it here and my #recovery is so strong here and I have #heart ties but again it is important to clear the past. This was this morning and since then some awarenesses came down for me very hard, this being the weekend it makes some differences super obvious that you can ignore during the workweek as a #couple. Loving animals is so key for me. I know people don’t compute #eatinganimals to having a beloved pet. But I still do. I am #rawvegan and my #bf is not.
